Elvira looked up as Nefara appeared. "You let her leave," she said. It was a statement. "No, she wanted to leave," Nefara responded, raw with bitterness and resentment. Elvira came over and embraced her daughter. "Sometimes you will find that your friends are really your enemies," she said. "True colors shine through in times like these," she said. "But remember, blood is thicker than water." Nefara smiled, as she hugged her mother and stepped back. Her mind was reeling. Why would Lauren just suddenly leave her? Why now? She'd known that she was a vampire. Nefara had known that Lauren was a Kriivida. But that hadn't mattered... had it? Had Lauren been hating her since the day of her turning? No... Those days in that cell with her, trapped and starving. They had talked about so many things. Lauren hadn't hated her then, even though Nefara could have easily given into to her hunger and killed her. Elvira gave her a smile, something reassuring; an attempt at comforting, before walking away, to leave Nefara to her thoughts. Nefara walked to the other side of the house. It was quiet. She went out and sat on the bench on the back porch. Sitting there, she realized what it must have been. Either one or the other. Maybe both. Dexter had told her things, lied to her. It had to be that. And then Elvira had shown up, awake and well. That had to be at least one of the causes. Nefara frowned. Why would her mother be the cause of Lauren's leaving? Elvira was a vampire, like Alleron, Carden... Nefara couldn't understand it. She should be spending time with her mother. She had so many questions...
Cecelia went downstairs to check up on Sam. As she looked around, she saw Gabriel talking out loud to no one. She froze, hiding behind the post. Gabriel seemed to come back to himself. She could see his face was both anxious, nervous and... what? Unsure? She made to go back upstairs, but the stairs creaked. Gabriel was besides her in a heartbeat, smiling. "Oh, Gabriel..." she said, with a smile. Cecelia wasn't sure what she saw, or heard, but she knew something weird was going on. "I just came to check up on Sam," she said. "Oh, alright," Gabriel said, that strange expression never leaving his face. "Well go ahead," he said, letting Cecelia by. She smiled slightly before walking over past. She glanced back, confused. Cecelia had really wanted to ask Sam what he did with her best friend, Zach. Zach hadn't been heard from in almost two weeks. She had been worried sick, fearing the worst. Was he dead? Alive? Cecelia felt the dagger hanging heavy in her pocket. She had the thought of killing Sam after she found out. She needed to. These...vampires... she had never wanted to have anything to do with them, but she had made the choice to stay because of Lauren, her friend, and because she needed to know where Zach was...

Gabriel walked back to Sam, he kept his eyes on Cecelia, while she stood there, watching Sam. He sighed loudly, if she hadn't barged in, he would have had time to talk to Sam about Dexter's plan. He wasn't stupid, he might have been a traitor, but he had promised himself not to make those mistakes again. Except if someone made him do it, and if he life was depending on it. Was it now? Not at all. Betrayal to him had everything to do with killing an other person as consequence of selling out a certain secret to the opposite side. So, fleeing didn't get anyone killed. At least not remotely indirect. Cecelia turned her gaze on him. "You look a bit... too white." She said, noticing the distant look in his eyes. "Long story." She nodded, wondering off again. Sam just sat there, in silence, looking up at both figures. He didn't speak, but his eyes were full of questions. "How's the upstairs world?" Gabriel asked. Cecelia shook her head a bit. "Lauren took off, everyone's a bit... on edge I think. And... well, ofcourse Elvira." She shuddered. "Surely, she wouldn't stop you from running away." Gabriel said, he grinned a bit at her confused face. "I've lived among humans for quit some years, I know when something's bothering someone. And you clearly don't want to stay now Lauren is gone." She nodded, she had to, he was right. "I just." She sighed and walked towards Sam. "What have you done to Zachary!?" She asked roughly. "Zachary?" Sam said, confused, his face matching his reaction. "I haven't seen Zachary in weeks." Cecelia turned to Gabriel, Vampires were far better in seeing if someone was lying. "He's not lying." The Vampire confirmed. He then look back up the stairs to hear someone else enter the basement. This time it was Alleron. He wondered why Alleron wasn't with Carden or Elvira.

Carden couldn't help but watch as everything moved around him. He tended to stay out of much of it, do what he wished, what he pleased, and go where he wanted to go. Elvira looked at him, as he lounged on the couch, feet propped on the arm. "You know, Carden, you are exactly as I remember you," she mused, smiling. "Do I? I guess I haven't changed much, but this world has," he said. "Oh, I bet..." she said, almost tiredly. "You have always been a constant," she said. "But why are you still here? I know you still can't be that close with Alleron." Carden looked at her, his blue-violet eyes flashing. "Time has distanced us, you're right, but he is my brother. Of course, we... don't always agree," Carden said with a grin. "Besides I want to be here when the shit hits the fan," he said, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. Elvira laughed. "Oh, I've seen the 'shit hit the fan' in many visions," she said. "So many different versions, possible outcomes," she said. She looked pointedly at him. "You die in many of them," she said. Carden shrugged. "I've been almost killed countless times in my life. Besides, I've already heard this warning from your daughter. She has already foretold my death... all doom and gloom," Carden said, with a grin. Elvira frowned. "Nefara... has visions?" she said. He laughed. "Why should she not? You, even when you were human, had visions... There's so much that you don't know about your daughter," Carden pointed out. Elvira nodded, her face dark and sad. "Sometimes it's best to not worry about the future, and just live," he said, wisely. "You haven't seen your daughter since she was a whining, annoying baby," Carden said, making a face. He hated babies more than anything. "She barely knows you. Only from what she's heard and seen... She asked me about Oron as well," Carden said. Elvira looked at him, giving him a weary smile. She shook her head. "I don't know... how I can explain everything to her," she said. "Or if I can," she said. "It's... difficult." Elvira fiddled with the ring on her neck, as she thought. "You know, I saw--" "I don't need to know your predictions and visions. Keep them to yourself," Carden added. He stood. "I'm going...hunting," he said. Elvira stood too, grabbing him. "No!... You may not want to know what I've seen, but you can't leave this house. Not alone," she said, her face worried. "We need to prepare... There are others, coming," she said, as she suddenly looked for Nefara.
Nefara gazed out into the woods. She couldn't stand just sitting here. Alleron was being distant from her, talking with her mother. They were busy, catching up and whatnot. Gabriel was downstairs or something with Sam. Carden... well he was Carden. Lauren had left... She stretched, and walked off into the sunlit trees. A walk might do her some good. She needed some time to think, mull over everything.

Lauren kept moving, she wasn't far off from the house, she kept walking and then tripped over a black-ash colored hand. She turned to see that at the base of the tree, in the shade was a mummified body, dark black eyes looked at her. She saw a flash of life in the body, but it was gone like Nefara's when she was starved. Lauren looked at the body, Crippled, deformed, and mortally wounded. Lauren knelt down next to the figure, the many hours of being starved after these wounds, must have been horrific, trapped in his own body. She looked at the sun, it would shine on him in a couple of minutes. His pitch black eyes stared at her neck. She reached out and touched the only living part of his flesh, at his neck, two punctures. She pressed her hand against them and felt a black aura launch out. She pushed it away and felt into his mind. She was sucked into one of the most recent memories.
"Where are they!" A man in a red robe stepped forth, skin stretched tight against his face and teeth long and sharp. "I have already told you. They are-" She saw the man break her arm. But it was not hers, but the vampire's. "I am done with your lies Akkitaru. Tell me where this Nefara being is or you will die a gruesome death. One that will be told for centuries to come, and as you watch others mock you you will be imprisoned forever with only a drop of blood per day." Akkitaru, the vampire stood up. He grasped the man's arm and threw him against the wall. Nefara was too powerful to allow this vampire to take control of her. To use her power. Akkitaru launched himself up onto the ceiling and punched right through it breaking his arm several times. He dug out and flitted off. Moving incrediably fast and pushing himself he fell almost a hundred times while making his trail nearly impossible to follow. He flitted straight off anywhere better than here. He had already been starved for a week, mangled and beaten regularly for answers. Now he needed a new body, a new disguise. Akkitaru was done. No longer did he need this pathetic being. He latched onto an aura of a dark soul, a human one. But was careful to conceil his presence from the two vampires around. He reconginized one. Nefara. What a coincidence he land so close to her. Now he could harvest her... But not now. He felt an older vampire, he would be too weak now to attack. Even stupider for he could feel his captors following his trail. He found the body he was looking for, left to die. He moved in and bit the body. Changing it. He had waited the hour before allowing the new youngling, Dexter, to feed off his old body. After his first meal, and while he was still moving by instincts only, He controlled Dexter. Akkitaru watched as his body was picked up and flitted off to where he rests now, waiting for the sun.
Lauren shook her head back to normal. She looked at the man, he reached out to grab her, she stood up and walked backwards. Akkitaru stood up, he lunged towards he knocking her down. She felt his hands on her arm pinning her as he moved towards her neck, his head hit the sun and his body began to fall into ash. She kicked him into the sunlight and he screamed in pain as the sun burnt him away slowly into ash. He fell into peices as his body smoldered and then was taken by the breeze. Lauren exhaled deeply. "What... the hell..." It explained Dexter but now... Who was that man. Wasn't Akkitaru taken over by someone else. Just as Dexter is. What would this mean. Lauren sunk to her knees. The more pressing question. What will happen to Nefara when Dexter comes.
Dexter pressed his mind towards Lauren, and appeared behind her at the tree, hidden in the shade. He stood there for a moment. "Lauren." She screamed and turned around startled. "Its you... but how?" Dexter smirked. "You must be crazy. But anyways. Do you have Nefara ready to go?" Lauren sighed "No..." Dexter's smile was gone. "Why not?" Lauren looked up. "Why? I don't wanna help you anymore, I just want to go back to school and finish with good grades so I can just be successful and live like a normal person. This is all too much.... Can't you understan-" "Understand that my kind will hunt you like a rat. We will find every corner you hide and hunt you day and night until Nefara dies. You are her Kryptonite, no matter what it is. So long as she lives, you will live. And vise versa. You play a role that is far greater then just being human. You can save both our kind by killing her. No vampire is as strong as a Daywalking one. Imagine if Nefara learns how she did it to Alleron. Next there will be an army of them. The Vida will stand no chance. Once they are all dead, the vampires will grow in power. Consume more.... and soon not even humanity will stop them. Do you want that to happen? To be their livestock?" Lauren shook her head. "Good now go and get Nefara."

Nefara walked through the trees in her own thoughts. She felt lost and unsure about everything. What would they do now? They couldn't stay here much longer. The Kriivida were bound to find them sometime soon, with Sam missing. What did Sam have to do with anything? What about her mother? Alleron? Gabriel? Elvira... she needed vampire blood! That... that wouldn't go well. They would have to find a way to change that. She couldn't just keep feeding off Gabriel, and she doubted that anyone else would be willing to tap a vein. And the future? What did that hold? It was as mysterious as her past. She had glimpses; strange things that didn't make sense. Alleron had told her that Elvira, even as a human, had had visions (mostly of the future). That had been the same for her. But she couldn't control or really interpret any of it. But the last vision she had, the one that her mother had showed her, was of a horrible future with no life. Suddenly Nefara gasped, as she felt the familiar sensation of being pulled into a vision...
"Elvira, are you sure you want to go through with this?" a woman asked. She had long, silken, blonde hair, with deep green eyes. Nefara could sense the warmth of the Kriivida magic that she emitted. She was powerful. Nefara was looking down on a strange scene. This woman and her mother were in an unidentifiable room, the background blurry. Elvira nodded, her face serious. "I'm sure, Senora," she said, but her voice wasn't convincing. Senora gave a weak smile. "You know that we could be killed in the process. I'm not sure this will even work..." she said. "I know. But even in attempting the Kriivida Council would execute you and kill me, if they every found out," she said, "Just as they killed my husband." "Lord Oron was a good man," Senora said. She paused. "This could be the day. The day that the decades of hard work we have done will finally prove true," she said. "We can only hope," Elvira said, "That this will change me back. I long for the kiss of the sun…” she said with a dreamy smile. Senora looked at her. "You miss being human…” she said. “It will be nice though, to have my friend back to the land of life," she said. “Like old times…” Elvira nodded, smiling. "Yes, it will be. And I will have a daughter," she said. "Have you forseen anything?" Senora asked. "No. I can see nothing about the child. She is a mystery to me." "And you have a name?" Elvira smiled. "Nefara." "Beautiful... Nefara will be a beautiful child..." Senora said. She looked at Elvira. "I fear though what this child may be. I know we have discussed this before, but you always try to change topics. I think it is important we discuss the potential of her." "Senora..." Elvira started. "No, listen. Should the Council discover that you are actually still alive and even more that you have a child... I fear for you and Nefara. We don't know what will happen. There has never been anything like this before. Human and Kriivida blood, merged with that of a vampire? I mean, think of it. Don't tell me you haven't thought of it!" Senora cried. "Oh, I have," Elvira said. "If she has the abilities that we think she could have... Then perhaps she could be the way to end the war." Senora smiled. "End the war... Do you know how crazy that sounds?" Elvira shrugged, laughing. "Oh, I know. We don't even know when this... this war between us started," she said. "But wouldn't it be wonderful? To have one who can walk the lines between Kriivida, vampire and humanity? She could have the potential to do so much good," Elvira said. Senora's face became dark. "Or she could have the opposite effect. The child could destroy everything..." Elvira scowled. "Do you think I would let that happen? I won't let anything happen to my child. I will protect her. I will help her find her own path…” “I pray for all our sakes…” Senora said. She stood, helping Elvira lie back on the bed. “Close your eyes… I don’t know how long this will take. It will hurt. But no matter what, don’t fight the magic. You remember what I told you from before. Just relax and breathe. When you wake, the sun will embrace you again…”

Gabriel looked up at Alleron, who only gave everyone a glimpse before taking off. He frowned, then placed his eyes on Cecelia. "Well, seems like there's not much for you to do here anymore, you better take off." He hoped she would bite, take a leave, so he could be alone with Sam. "But I don't know where to --" "Go home." He was so persuasive as he possibly could. As a Vampire he didn't really blink out in anything. He could do anything that every ancient Vampire could, but he was never 'very good' in anything. Cecelia opened his eyes widely. Then she ran towards the stairs. She wasn't persuaded. Something had just crossed her mind. If Zachary wasn't anywhere that was Sam's doing, he must still be searching for Lauren. So, if she stayed with Lauren, maybe she would find Zach. "What's the plan?" Sam asked Gabriel. "I rather ignore Dexter's plans. But if he tries, I have a much bigger chance of escaping." "What about me?" "You? I've had enough of you, I think it's time to end your suffering." He took that bit of strength he had and used it as a weapon. In a second he snapped the Kriivada's neck. "I never really liked you." He added. "And it's a shame you're a Kriivada, I could've made good use of your blood." He smirked and sat down. He was a prisoner, at least he felt like one, and the fact that he was still to weak to flitter was his chain. He lay his head against the wall, closing his eyes. Sam was dead, one problem down. He still feared for his life, but as long as Elvira needed something to drink he was save.

Nefara jumped and turned on a time, ready for any attack, as Cecelia rounded the path on her. "Oh!" Cecelia said, eyes wide. Nefara frowned. "What are you doing here?" she said. "I'm going after Lauren..." Cecelia responded, looking away. Nefara sighed. She knew why. Everyone did. It was obvious. She gave Cecelia a pointed look. "If you see her... well never mind," Nefara said finally. Cecelia nodded, and made to walk past. "No," she said. "But--" "You're going the wrong way," Nefara said, with a weary smile. "She went that way," Nefara said, pointing in the other direction. "Oh. Thanks..." Cecelia said, as she turned and walked off, feeling Nefara's eyes on her back. "Good luck..." Nefara said. Cecelia turned and looked at he, giving her a smile back. "Yea... thanks."
Nefara waited until she couldn't hear Cecelia any more before she decided to return and walk back towards the house. It late noon, and they might be looking for her.
Lauren was walking back when Cecelia appeared through the trees. "Cecelia!" Lauren said, surprised, as well as suspicious. "Lauren," Cecelia said, with a smile. "Why did you leave?" she asked. "What... happened?" Her face clouded. "Nothing..." she said, tersely. "Anyway, why are you here?" "Do you really think that I would want to stay in a house of vampires?" she asked. "No, I agreed to help them because, well Zach and I were after Sam and you. Now, I need to find Zach."
Nefara walked slowly back, the vision replaying itself in her mind's eye. Her mother had originally intended for her to be a sort of... peacekeeper? She had never considered that aspect of her abilities. That she could be the one to work things out. 'End the war'. But no matter what, Kriivida and vampires would always fight. It was apart of human nature. Even more so. Vampires had to kill to survive, like any predator in nature. The Kriivida would always resent that fact: that vampires took humans to survive. And thus, always conflict, fighting, war.
And what of that vision that her mother had showed her? Where the vampires had taken over? In that future, it had been all her fault... But she wouldn't do that. She wasn't that kind of person? Was she? And her mother? In the vision, Elvira seemed so... happy. So light, despite all the terrible things that had befallen her. Now, Nefara could see the years of resentment, hatred and bitterness that weighted upon her. At one point, Elvira had seemed... hopeful, and optimistic.

Elvira paced. Since waking, her visions had been anything but helpful. Through practice, she could see with a clarity. But now they were foggy, uncertain. She made her way into the basement. "Gabe," she said, seeing him there. Gabriel looked up, wary. He stepped in front of Sam's body, blocking the view. He wasn't sure how she would react. "Where's Nefara, Gabriel?" she asked. "I haven't seen her," Gabriel replied. Elvira narrowed her eyes. She was in front of him in a second. Her gaze fell on Sam. "What did you do?" she demanded. "I killed him," Gabriel said with a shrug. "Wasn't too useful, if you ask me." Elvira glared back at him. "You didn't know that!" she snapped. "He could have been our bargaining chip! This is how it starts!" she said. Gabriel frowned, confused. Elvira shook her head. "Never mind..." She gave Gabriel a smile, taking his hand. He stood still, not breathing. "Gabriel..." she purred. "Always going against what everyone thinks..." she said. "Breaking rules. Selfish!" she said, as she pulled him suddenly forward and sank her teeth into the base of his neck. Gabriel gave a cry out, struggling, but Elvira's grip had gotten even stronger. He was immobile, as he felt her mind forcing into his. After a moment of taking blood, she lifted her head up and whispered to him. "Don't you ever think, for a moment, that you can deceive me again. You may have hurt me before, but won't allow it." She paused. "Now, I know who Dexter is... I will protect Nefara in all the ways I wasn't able to protect her before!" she said, harshly. "You, are going to do as I say and help me kill Dexter once and for all."

"I already did my part." Gabriel snapped, his voice weak. "Dexter was here... in some ghostly figure, and he asked me and Sam to sell Nefara and you out." "Why didn't you?" Elvira pushed him back, he fell to the ground, unable to break his fall. She flitted towards him, her head in front of his, he could hear her heart, her blood. It was breathtaking. "Why?" Gabriel shook his head, in an attempt to focus his attention back on Elvira, instead of on her blood. "Because I've sworn to protect Nefara. I might be a selfish traitor, but I keep my promises." "Oh!" Elvira looked away. "And you keep them so well! Remember when you exchanged her for me, was that part of our pact as well." "I hadn't planned it very well." Elvira grabbed the back of Gabriel's head. "You're going to kill Dexter, because if you fail, I won't feel any regrets." She lifted him off the ground. "We're going to feed. I need you back on strength, but that doesn't mean you can run off when you feel like it. I'm far stronger than you." "I don't understand your plan!" Gabriel said, backing off. Something flashed in her eyes, she threw him against the wall and flitted towards him to push him against the wall once more. "You don't get to think!" She growled.
Gabriel followed Elvira upstairs, leaning against the wall closest to the door. He felt the pain, he hated it, this weakness. His only way out seemed to be dead. Ofcourse he was too proud to kill himself or be killed. Carden was sitting in one of the chairs, his feet on the table, he looked at Gabriel, his head backwards. "Nefara is outside. She'll be coming, I don't want to disturb her in her thoughts." Alleron said, sitting down next to Carden, and watching Elvira walk over to the window. She couldn't deal with light, she wasn't like her daughter.

Elvira drew back the thick, black curtain. She jumped back, as a bright ray of sunlight streamed in. Carden looked at her, as she gave a slight hiss of pain. "You might want to watch yourself," he said with a laugh. "Don't want to burn yourself..." Elvira shot him a dirty look. "Thanks for the warning... " she muttered, as she watched the skin reform perfectly on her hand. She'd been so anxious to see if Nefara was outside... and the last time she could embrace the sun. She looked at the curtains, so they didn't see the pained look on her face. Or if they did, they'd think it was from the burn she'd received form the sun. She remembered Senora, her best friend. The Kriivida that had died in the process of redeeming her life, and returning her to the favor of the sun, to humanity. But it had all been for nothing! Sam... Gabriel, they both had changed her back into the exact thing she'd been fighting to escape! If her plans had worked out, she'd be... human with her daughter. She wouldn't have anything to do with this dark world. After everything, hundreds of years of this life, this, this darkness; it kept calling her back. There would be no change. This last transformation was final. She could... feel it's permanance. She wasn't even fully a vampire. She still had a heartbeat, yet she desired vampire blood, not that of anything else. It had taken Gabriel's blood, and only his blood to wake her. She knew that her body had broken the last time, unable to truly revert back. Sighing, she turned away from the window to hear a door open on the other side of the house.
Nefara walked in a moment later. "Nefara," Elvira sighed, happy to see her daughter safe. "Hey," Nefara said, oblivious to Elvira's thoughts. Elvira smiled to herself. No, she wouldn't let anything happen to her daughter. No again. She shook her head. No, she wouldn't regret any more about what had happened to her her, or to Nefara. But she would do everything in her power to make sure her visions didn't come true. And it had to start off with Gabriel killing Dexter.

Lauren smiled, a first for today... She nodded. "Well I am going to return to my old life... Maybe even move away form here. I always wanted to get away from here... Now theres nothing here to stop me." She kept moving hoping Cecilia would leave her alone. SHe didn't really want any part of this. She rounded a large tree and Dexter's form stood there. "It doesn't matter how far you run... You are destined to help us, or help them. Theres no choice.." Lauren sighed. "There is always a choice..."

Cecelia followed Lauren, her face troubled. She stopped short as she looked at Dexter. "Dexter?" she asked. "But I saw Nefara kill you..." she said, not understanding. "Lauren, what's going on?"
Nefara glanced at Gabriel who leaned weakly against the wall on the far side of the room. Elvira stood besides Gabriel. She could see the teeth marks. She looked away. As Nefara passed to drop down onto the couch, Nefara saw Elvira grab Gabriel and lead him away. Whatever Elvira had planned for him wasn't her business... She sighed, feeling tired and weary. She looked around the room. Cecelia had left, probably to go after Lauren. Carden was "asleep", but Nefara bet it was only a show to keep people from disturbing him. Putting her head in her hands, she felt Alleron come and sit besides her. "How was your walk?" he asked. She gave a tired smile. "You miss her." "What are you talking about?" Nefara snapped. "Lauren. I know... how much you cared for her," Alleron said, trying his best at comforting her. Nefara shook her head. "Right. I guess it just wasn't mutual," she sneered. "Or she wouldn't have left. She wouldn't have abandoned or doubted me..." Nefara said, bitterly. Alleron was silent for a moment before he said, "We'll be leaving the house as soon as the sun sets." Nefara looked at Alleron with wide eyes. "Wait, WHAT?" she gasped. "Why?" "Elvira... she thinks that someone is coming after us. We don't know who though. She hasn't been able to see clearly. And because Gabriel killed Sam..." She frowned. "What does Sam have to do with any of this?" "Kriivida usually have a Finder spell on them," Alleron explained. "It's a way for Kriivida to track their own. The spell is activated as soon as the person dies. It's like a beacon to any Kriivida in the area." "I can move the body," Nefara said. "That may help, but Elvira doesn't want anyone, especially you, to leave the house." Nefara shook her head in shock. "And we're just sitting here!?" she gasped. "We should be preparing!" "We are prepared. We now all know. It's only a race, to see who gets to us first..." Alleron growled. "The Kriivida, these mysterious people of Elvira's visions, or if we can escape at dark." "You and I though can walk in the sun!" Nefara said with a smile. Alleron frowned. "What, are you going to leave Carden, Gabriel and your mother behind?" he asked. "No! But if I can find a way to repeat what I did to you, then we can leave without the sun to worry us!"
Elvira took Gabriel's shoulders. He could feel her nails pressing against his skin. "Gabriel, you are to follow Dexter's wishes to go to him. As soon as you get the opportunity, kill him," she said, handing Gabriel a Solis blad, wrapped in thick fabric. Gabriel took the weapon from her. "Where did you get this?" "It's Alleron's... Anyway, this weapon will kill any vampire, as if they were mortal. You don't have to hit the heart, as you know. And it's just like a regular dagger; kill a human too. But take out Dexter first." "And if I decided not to?" "Then Dexter will be the least of your worries," Elvira hissed. Gabriel nodded, knowing that Elvira meant what she said. He remembered her from years ago. "What about if I fail?" "Pray that you don't," Elvira said, giving Gabriel pat, before flitting away.

Lauren stood there. She pushed her Hand through Dexter, it phased through. "It isn't really him. Its his aura. Do not ask me." Dexter stepped forward just inches from the sun. "Lets just say that I learned so much more then any vampire could within their first few hours. I was changed when I was killed. My mind was still alive as my body slowly died. Then came a vampire... I guess you can see the rest." Dexter smiled. "I kindof like the power. The absolute power that is within me. It feels refreshing, but I have to drink so much just to obtain this power." His body glowed underhim with the blood he gorged on. "Anyways. I am in need of aid. Do you want to help." Cecilia stood there. "Help with what?" Dexter smiled. "Killing Elvira and Nefara. The Elders want them dead. I want their blood..." Cecilia stared at Lauren and then to Dexter. "You know that they will only get stronger. Elvira is not an angel. There is a reason no Elder wanted to save her. She led us into dark times. Vampires hunted eachother." Dexter's eyes faded away. His image blurred as something else appeared with bright red irises that stared at her through his eyes. A person within his eyes spoke out. "We didn't want her to overthrow the entire court. We sent out many of our kind to keep her seperated. We had amoung them traitors who gave her location to dear Sam. And thanks to you and your friends she is back alive. And now we know who aids her addiction. Gabriel. We have a traitor among them. Eyes within theirs." Dexter formed back to normal. "So you going to help us?"

(hmmm... not really getting that part, but w/e. you will reveal more with this whole 'elder' thing as we go, right? XP )
Alleron looked at Nefara with worried eyes. "Even so, how would you even replicate it? We didn't even know that you... changed me, until much later!" Nefara looked determined. "I have the ability," she said. "I can figure it out." "No," Elvira said, having reentered the room. Nefara looked at her, confused. "There's too little time, and I have just come up with another plan..." Elvira said with a smile.
Nefara shook her head. This plan wouldn't work! "What if we're attacked?" she asked. "Then we can defend ourselves. But this is the quickest way to run," Elvira responded. "Why are we running? Why can't we fight!?" Nefara demanded. Elvira came and held Nefara, looking at her. "I don't have my full strength," she said, "and Gabriel has a task for me... That leaves you, me, Carden and Alleron," she said. "Up against what? How many Kriivida? Or how many vampires? I haven't seen the outcome, nor can I. All I've seen is that there will be an attack here soon. We must flee and bide our time, until we can gather our strength." Nefara glared at the floor. She'd been running too often, and her mind raged for blood. She wanted, no needed to do something other than run! But instead, she just nodded. Elvira smiled. "Grab your things. The rest is loaded in the two cars..."
Cecelia frowned, looking at Lauren. "I... I don't get it. Who are these 'elders' you speak of? Why would they want to kill Elvira or Nefara?" Cecelia asked. She never particularly liked Nefara, but no way did she hate her. And she definitely never wanted to kill her. "How could one person, a human none the less, throw over the entire vampire court?" she asked. "I just don't understand." Cecelia wanted to find Zach, and help Lauren, but if Lauren was involved with this strange vampire, then... well she didn't think she wanted much to do with it.

Gabriel had made his way outside, waiting in the shade of the house on the sun to go away, he counted only minutes before it would be harmless to his skin. That gave him some time to think. He looked at the solis blade. He had to kill an other Vampire, not like he hadn't done that before, play a silly game. He was still weak, he needed at least a half dozen people to get back to normal strength, and he had already targeted the people in the houses next to Alleron's. "Why am I doing this?" He whispered to himself, while he touched his neck, he felt the marks. "Damn it, be gone! Heal!" He said frustrated. To be honest, he was afraid of Elvira, afraid that once he had slain Dexter, he would still be her feeding bag. Dexter wouldn't be much of a problem as soon as he was back on strength. He was probably more than 10 times as old. He had more experience, and all the nice tricks that the newly made Vampire didn't have. The sun was gone, time to go out for a hunt. He slipped into three houses, killed families in minutes and drained them of every last drop of blood. He was sloppy with the bodies, but he had no time. Dexter was close now, you never know when that's gone. He left the last house, trying to pick up Dexter's scent. The holograph smell was all over the place. He ran down the forest, flitting, he missed that. He hid behind a tree, seeing Cecelia and Lauren talking to one of Dexter's holograms. How did he make that? Gabriel kept his distance, waiting for any hint towards the Vampire's hiding place.
