Who was Dedelean? Shona stared at Elliot as though he was crazy. "Actually, Elliot, it's Shona." But Elliot continued watching her with the same happy smile he had before. She turned her head towards the girl, the Graceling, on the wall. In her hands were strange threads. Shimmering, and silver, some faint, other's glowing. A dream was what Shona needed, something to stop the confusion. The world turned white, at least, appeared to, the illusion Shona had shown. The only color were the people. Elliot's smile dissipated, turned to confusion, but the girl, she was still holding her threads.

(I originally had it that only Mila can see the threads, but w/e. we can have it that you can see them because of your Grace. that sounds good ) Mila glared at Shona. She could barely weave anything into her thread. It was too... changing. That must be her Grace. And besides, she hadn't yet touched the girl yet, which would make things even harder. She easily wove more threads together, elaborating the dream. No matter what this illusion girl could do, it only fooled the eyes, not the mind. She could make Elliot see Dedelean in a tree. Push in the right places, and you will know what people will do. They are always so predictable. She frowned. That illusion girl had to go. She was endangering her plans! She smiled, as she wove darker strands into Elliot's waking dream... Elliot was so happy. Dedelean was here! It didn't matter... Suddenly he felt bitterness in his mouth, as the Master appeared behind Dedelean. He could recognize that man anywhere. "De!" he cried, trying to warn her. Dedelean just looked at him and smiled, as she turned and hugged the Master. "De..." Elliot whispered, heartbroken. No, this wasn't Dedelean. Not the Dedelean he knew... He would kill the Master for this! Now was his chance to make things right; avenge Dedelean. Dedelean smiled at him, that sweet smile he remembered, before touching the Master's shoulder and fading into the air. "What did you do to her!?" Elliot demanded. The Master laughed. "Elliot... Come, join me. You can be with your Dedlean forever more," the Master said, extending his hand. "Come..." he said, weaving drawing thoughts into Elliot. "No!" Elliot said, forcing the Master's magical words out of his head, as he charged, shape shifting...Shona screamed, as Elliot charged at her, teeth and claws bared, all the while, Mila stood laughing on the wall.

Elliot growled loudly, as he charged. "You're going to die!"
Peter pushed Isaac behind a wall, staring into a distance. Elliot attacked the girl Shona, there was chaos everywhere. But where was the cause. "Isaac, stay here. I'll try to get Elliot back to normal! You look around and try to find something that's out of order!" "Like what?" Isaac tended the fire in his hands, which he had taken from the light of a candle. He needed to keep it in order to use it later, if he had to. "Something that doesn't make sense, like a person who isn't into all of this chaos." Peter explained before running off. Isaac nodded, staying on his place. He didn't need to worry about Peter, his grace was strong enough to heal from any wound in seconds. That and, he was strong, he had learned fighting with the best.
A sword was held between Elliot and Shona, her sword, the master's sword. While all that he could see was some magical spell. He leaped forward, his claws ready for an other attack, he went for the throat. Then Peter stepped between, tackling him. "El! What has gotten into you!?"

She needed that girl to stop with her threads. Peter had Elliot. Blindness. She shoved the illusion upon the girl, forcing it upon her, trying to blind the girl, forcing darkness onto her eyes. Shona turned towards the girl, who's threads were still in her hands.

Mila blinked, as a flash of blindness overcame her. She fell to her knees. Damn it! She knew she wasn't blind, but that was how she was seeing things. Like all light in the world had been extinguished. Her Grace only worked on others, not herself. So she couldn't fight Shona's Grace. She knew that it would take a moment for Shona to be able to get on the wall. Mila let her ears and other senses open. She pulled out her long slender rapier sword. Shona had to die... or dream. Mila stood, tense, waiting, listening to the screams, and chaos around her, listening for Shona's approach. Isaac ran over to the stalls, where Hanna was struggling to mount a horse. He ran to help her, but Hanna turned, stopping him with her sword point. "Back!" she snarled. "I won't let you demons take me without a fight!" (lets make things interesting) Levia was resting in a tree, as she heard feet approach. She tenses, wondering if she had been seen. It was her Master! She was about to join him, but decided to listen instead, when she heard Mila's name mentioned. "Have you heard from Mila?" the Master asked his companion. "No, Master. But everything should be going to plan," the man said. "Mila only needs to create enough confusion for us to attack the village. We know where Kasta is located. The Gracelings are ready." The Master nodded. "Perfect. And I hear there are other Gracelings there that will be an asset to us." "Yes, Master. Elliot, Peter, Issac, Shona... and a few others that our spies could not place." "I am glad that Seaten was able to provide so much help. He shall be greatly rewarded," the Master said. "As for a few others, we need to reign them closer. I am saddened by their lack of true loyalty." "Seaten tells us that they were only working for your best interest." "Fine, very well... Send word to the lines to attack." "And you Master?" "I will be joining the fun soon," the Master said. "You are dismissed." "Your wish is my command, Master," the man said before departing. The Master stood there for a moment, until the man's footsteps were gone. Without turning, he said, "Levia, dear, I know you are up in that tree. Come join your Master. I have an important task for you."

Shona stepped to the wall, searching for a way up. She reached up her hands, sliding her fingers into a crevice and pulled herself up. Shona's feet ran over the wall, until finding a small ledge, and reached again. This time, her fingers found the top of the wall, and, struggling, she climbed onto the flat surface of the wall. Standing, she saw the other Graceling. A long, slender sword was in her hand.

Mila turned to face Shona. Though blind, she was still deadly. Shona saw Mila smile. "Glad you could join me," she said, almost pleasantly. "Afraid of heights?" she laughed. "You may have taken my sight, but that is all you have taken," she said. "You better watch out too," she said. "Those villagers seem pretty angry." Shona chanced a glance down to the people below. The height of the wall made her weak at the knees for a moment. She saw that many had gathered below, faces angry, as they stared at her. "To them, I am their beloved, Lady Kasta," Mila explained, smiling. "And you are the Master," she said. "They're searching for a bow now," she said, snapping her fingers. "You're too late..." Shona looked around, terrified. Mila's ability could somehow override her's, though they were very similar. Too late? Suddenly there was a scream. Shona looked over to see a huge band of people - Gracelings - attack the town. "Too late," Mila said, as she lunged forward, and attacked Shona.
Kasta woke to the sounds of screams. Everything was disorienting and painful. She saw a young man standing over her. "Lorn?" she asked, eyes unfocused. "No," he said. "Hold still. This will hurt - a lot, but you will be better," he promised. "I'm the Graceling hearler." Kasta nodded, as she felt herself slipping away again. Suddenly a pain, so bright, as if she was being burned alive, took over her. She screamed, thrashing, but something was holding her down. Just as quickly as the pain started, it began to recede. She felt a cooling, wonderful sensation. Her eyes snapped open, as she jumped to her feet, eyes amazed. "Thank you!" she said, smiling. "And Lorn?" "I'm going to him next. You must hurry though. The town is under attack. We don't have much time," Mech said. Kasta nodded, grabbing her pack, which held most of her weapons and a set of clothes. As she burst from the building, furnished with her weapons, ready to fight, everything hit her with sudden clarity. Kasta tried to quickly access what was going on, but it was too hard. She had to find Elliot...

Shona turned, walking as quickly as she could without falling. It might be a mistake to leave herself so defenseless, but with Mila blind, maybe, just maybe, she would have enough time to get down the wall. She couldn’t go down on the inside of the wall. The people’s angry faces glared up at her with a deadly hatred. One of her feet slipped, pushing her over. Her arms caught the wall, and she hung over the side to he forest.. It cost her a vital second. Mila was there, sword in hand, standing over her. How? She was still blind, Shona had made sure of that. Maybe… Could she? Her previous attempts had failed, but maybe her Grace had changed and moved again. Gently at first, then trying harder and harder, to make the girl feel the sensation that she was falling. Her hold on the wall wasn’t complete, and every second a strain. Shona closed her eyes, focusing on that girl feeling as though she was plummeting towards the ground. One of her arms slipped.

Mila gave a gasp, as she froze, arms wide, as if to catch herself. Disoriented, she stepped back, and fell. The sensation lasted long enough, as soon as Mila had stepped away, Shona lost it. Mila gave a shout, as she tried to twist and control her fall. Shona looked away. No matter how much she might hate this girl, she couldn't watch her fall to her death. She heard the cries below and some cheering. She changed a look. The people below had caught her. Mila's sight had returned with her fall. She looked at Shona and shot her a nasty smile. Then she ran, disappearing into the crowd of people, who were rioting below the wall, many trying to climb up and reach Shona.
Mila escaped easily. "Master," she said, as she approached. She bowed low. "I have done as you have asked. They won't suspect a thing." "You have done well, my daughter. Word has gone out already," the Master said. "Join them." "As you wish, Master."
Kasta searched. She had to find Elliot. She sprinted through the crowds. That girl! What was going on? She'd been so sick for too long. Lorn. Should she stay? No, she needed to find help! Kasta shook her head. This was the Master's work. How could they have found her? There must be a spy here!

Climbing fully back onto the top of the wall, Shona could see that far more people were there than before she had stopped looking. This time, as she walked further on the top of the wall, she placed her feet carefully, until finding a possible place to stop and climb down, on the side facing forest. Stopping soon, finding a place to get down, she lowered herself down until one of her feet found a hold, and proceeded down the rest of the way. Once on the ground, Shona sat down, her back against the side of the wall.

Levia had her bow out, as she stood on the roof, shooting with deadly accuracy. She never missed, even if she tried... She had a full quiver on her back with a whole bin at her feet. A ring of people lay dead around her. De stood besides her, with more arrows, to keep her in fresh supply. All the while the Graceling army started swarming the town, under Mila's guise.

"El!" Peter yelled, his grip wasn't strong enough to keep hold of Elliot, who was still in the deadly shape of a large cat. "Calm down for god's sake!" Isaac ran up to them, he had left Hanna in all the hurry, he didn't want to be die at the point of her sword. "Pete!" He screamed, the fire still roaring in the palm of his hand. "Isaac, go look if Lorn and Kasta are okay!" Peter ordered, before Elliot released himself from his grip. He shaped back into his own body, breathing heavily. "Elliot!" "I'm... I'm... fine?" He closed his eyes. It was the only way to shut out the images. "I'm under... this spell... or something..." Peter lay his hand on the shapeshifter's shoulder. "We need to find out what's happening!" He finally understood what had come over many villagers and Elliot, some spell. As long as Kasta and Lorn weren't under any effect, because else he feared for Isaac's life even more. "Take my hand, we have to find Kasta!"

Kasta closed her eyes, calming down. There were too many people trying to attack; her and each other. It was hard to know who was with her. She managed to get out of the fight. Backing up, she felt someone behind her. She was just about the whirl around, ready to kill, when she stopped herself seeing it was Isaac. "Oh!" she said, taking a breath. "Where's Elliot?" she asked.
Lorn frantically changed and grabbed his blades. Kasta! What he understood from Mech was that the village was under attack and some weird stuff was going down. There was too much mayhem!
(I forgot, does Dedelean have a Grace?)
The Master watched his handiwork. The villages, still within Mila's dream were attacking each other, allowing much of his Gracelings to go undetected. They had their targets: Kasta, Lorn, Shona, Elliot, Peter, and Issac. This would be a great collection. One touch, one word, and they would all be his.

(Dedelean can control Electricity)
"Elliot is..." Isaac looked around, he was a bit lost. Unlike Peter, he had no idea what was going on. "Back this way." He paused. "Do you know what is going on?" He asked, bitting his lip. And unlike Peter, he was afraid of dead. He didn't wait for an answer. "Follow me!"

Elliot heard the crack and sizzle of what could only be lightening, followed by the sound close to thunder. Dedelean! And this time, he knew in his heart that it really was her! He started to run through the fighting mass of people, Peter trailing behind. It was difficult; he had to fight his way through. Suddenly someone grabbed him. Kasta pulled him up out of the fray. "Kasta!" Elliot breathed. "Issac!" Peter had grabbed Issac. They were all standing on a roof. "What now? Do you know what's going on?" Issac asked. "I don't know..." Elliot said. "I know that girl, Mila, has something to do with all of this. I assume this has something to do with the Master. Mila is somehow manipulating everyone's thoughts!" "No, it's not the thoughts..." Peter said. Elliot nodded, thinking, "no, you're right. She makes us see and hear things that aren't there.... I can't describe it!" "Well whatever it is, we can see that the Master is somewhere here. And he is probably here for us," Kasta said. "What? How would you know?" "He attacked me earlier.. and tried to...recruit me," Kasta said. "Instead, Dedelean fell to his control." "Dedelean..." Elliot whispered. He jumped to his feet. "I know where she is! Follow me!"
