Elliot swallowed, he looked at Dedelean, a helpless look in his eyes. He knew he wouldn't be able to tell everything she wanted to hear, only Senior knew all the answers, but Kasta wouldn't be satisfied with that. "I was given an order to kill Lorn, an anonymous order, I don't know who wanted him dead, I only know who passed it on to me. You weren't part of the deal, you were just in the way." He looked down at the ground, searching for a way out, a way out for Dedelean, she was more important to him than some stupid money.

Kasta narrowed her eyes. Way off in the distance, she picked up the baying of the hunting dogs. Lorn had gotten help. Neither of these two could hear yet. "Give me the name," she said. "And your name. If you're not telling the truth..." she trailed off, glaring at Elliot.

Elliot knew if he would give his name he would have to run, it wasn't save for them anymore, but that was clear at first. He swallowed all his doubts away and went directly for saving Dedelean. "His name is lord Edon, but I doubt you'll find him." He was still struggling if he would give her his own name, there weren't much people who knew his full name, and certainly not where he lived. What danger was there in saying it. "Mine is... Elliot James Williams Junior."

Kasta watched his face, and mostly his eyes. She could see the signs of lying. But this boy was telling the truth. "Take the price off Lorn's head..." she said. "Stop hunting us," she continued, keeping her hand steady against Dedelean's throat. "I don't think you're a bad person, just working for the wrong people," she admitted. Elliot gave a bitter laugh. "Who's the one to talk? You work as a legal killer of the king of Rada!" he laughed. He saw a dark veil cover Kasta's face as she flinched. She glared at him all the harder. He stopped laughing as he saw Dedelean flinch as Kasta pressed the dagger closer to her neck. "Don't test me," Kasta warned. "Accept my offer and I may let you and Dedelean go without harm."

Elliot did a step back, he feared for her life, the knife. If that could just disappear. "Let us go." He said, but it sounded more like begging. He was surprised by how such a situation could change him, he would never tell the truth, he would never be weak like this, but he couldn't let Dedelean die, she was the only one that ever took interest in him. Just him as a person, and not a ruthless assassin.

"Only if you swear not to continue your task of hunting Lorn or myself," Kasta snapped. "If you dare cross your word, I will make it my duty to find your little friend and torture her in front of you..." she snarled. She felt Dedelean start to tremble. "And you know what my...abilities are capable of."

Elliot nodded. "I swear I won't continue my mission." He said, but he was afraid that within the time he had been talking to Kasta, Lorn was on his way back, maybe already here. He needed to push the least time in it. "Please, let me get her home." He wanted Kasta to think he was her bigger brother, it would Dedelean staying off her wish list.

Kasta narrowed her eyes. "I'll be watching..." she hissed. "You especially..." she whispered into Dedelean's ear. With a sudden movement, she drew her blade with amazing speed and accuracy across Dedelean's right wrist. She had to make sure that Elliot, at least for the time being wouldn't follow her. He would care for Dedelean because she was injured. Kasta made sure to cut deep enough to make it dangerous if they didn't get her to someone who could help her, but not harmful enough to outright kill her. That was her specialty...
Kasta turned and ran, sprinting through the forest like a loping deer. She met Lorn right on the other side of the clearing. "You ok?" "Yea..." Kasta said, jumping on Lorn's horse with him. "I've delt with it. Let's go..." she said. "But the dogs?" "They'll come back. Let them give chase with the other soldiers..." Kasta responded, looking at the seven soldiers who were accompanying Lorn. As Kasta and Lorn turned back to the castle, the men with the hunting dogs continued on. Kasta wanted to make sure that Elliot had left... "You didn't mean you...killed them," Lorn said. Kasta shook her head. "I've dealt with it. I'll tell you when we get back..." she said.
Elliot heard the men and dogs coming. He picked up Dedelean. There was too much blood. He didn't have time to bind the wound! He had to get her to a doctor or something!

Elliot ran, he was so slow in Human form, he was scared of being caught. "Dedi, put your arms firmly around me, I'm going to bring you back home the fastest way." He changed his shape, while Dedelean was hanging around his neck, she had a loose grip, her arm hurt like hell, but she continued holding on. She knew Elliot would get her back, the old woman would tend her, everything would be alright.

Kasta and Lorn were making their way up to Kasta's room. Kasta was so immersed in the conversation about what they should do about Elliot and Dedelean that she wasn't paying attention to the heartbeat that she usually would have heard to know who was hiding around the corner... "We should file a claim with the Order..." "Or perhaps take the Wanted off his head..." Lorn offered. "I mean you probably either made him hate you and want to get even more revenge, or scared him shitless..." Kasta gave a sort of snort. "Right. And what about the king?" Lorn asked, switching subjects. Kasta entered her room, throwing her bag down. "No... We'll talk about this elsewhere," Kasta said, picking up her hearing. It was then she heard the heartbeat, the slight breathing. Someone was in her room! "Shhh..." Kasta said, as she suddenly became wary. The person was by the balcony. She carefully went over to grab one of the many swords hanging on her weapon wall. Suddenly out of nowhere, an arrow shot through the open window. Kasta gave a yelp of suprise as the force of the arrow flung her to the wall, pinning her. Three more arrows followed, leaving Kasta pinned to the wall. Lorn found himself in a similar position. "Elliot! You'll be sorry!" Kasta snarled, but stopped when Levia stepped through the balcony door, bow in hand.

"Elliot, what are you doing?" Lean asked when the shapeshifter leaded her through the streets, he was holding his head up high, face hid behind a hat. Lean's arm was cared. She still had pain, but Elliot decided for her that they needed to take down the hunter first of all. He wouldn't talk about his own mission, she knew he wasn't much of a quitter. "Finding that girl!" He said. "How?" Elliot turned his head a bit, looking down on Lean. "Scent." "Oh, of course." She was silent after that, it was to dangerous for them to go on the streets already, but Elliot wouldn't stop, he wasn't scared. He wasn't scared of anything happing to himself, as long as it didn't happen to her.
"Got her!" Elliot called when he found the scent, he looked up, pointed his finger to a woman standing with her back towards them. "Is that her?" "El, I'm not sure, I can't see her." Lean said, focussing on the view so far away. "But she is holding a bow, Levia was holding a bow." Elliot ran down an alley, knowing Lean would understand his plan. He shifted into a cat, jumping up the walls, which had been coming clear to him was an easy job. He jumped up the balcony, seeing the game that had started already, Kasta pinned to the wall, Lorn as well, how easy was his target now. He shifted again, the shape of a big mountain cat, and he jumped at the girl with the bow. First of all breaking the bow in half, then slamming his big claws into the girl's face.

Levia screamed, falling back.
Kasta pulled the final arrow off and jumped to the floor, grabbing her sword. She didn't know what was going on, but she knew that both Levia and Elliot were her enemies. She quickly threw a sword to Lorn as she helped him free.
Levia drew a dagger, but the weight of a full blown tiger was too much to handle. The blade skidded across the floor. She gasped, as Elliots claws dug into her. Her black eyes faded suddenly back into their normal emerald green, right before she fainted from the pain.
"Elliot! And I know that's you!" Kasta snarled, pointing a bow and arrow at him. "You broke your promise..."

Elliot growled, but he wasn't really paying attention to Kasta or Lorn. Lean's safety was his first promise, he wouldn't let her down. He felt Levia's body tremble under his weight, she was unconscious. He took a step back, looking at his work, he needed to find out who send her. The person that Lean called a Master. The only problem now was that Levia was in Kasta's room, many meters above the ground. What were his options? He stared at Kasta and Lorn, certainly he wouldn't be that stupid. He saw the bow and arrow not as such a big threat, he was more afraid that Levia hadn't come to the castle alone. He growled at Kasta and Lorn, doing an other step aside. He changed his shape, back human, how else could he communicate. His knuckles were bleeding. "What? No thank you?" He grinned.

Kasta glared at Elliot. "You have twenty seconds to explain yourself," Kasta hissed. Elliot glared back. "Fine. You want an explanation? This girl here was after Dedelean... and you it seems," Elliot said, being fairly honest. Kasta gave him another suspicious look. "Lorn, bind her," she said. Lorn carefully waked by Elliot, and grabbed Levia. He skillfully bound her, ankles and wrists. He stepped back, always keeping his eyes on Elliot and his sword at the ready. "Relax, I didn't come here for you," Elliot spat. "I kept my promise," he said, glancing back at Kasta. She raised an eyebrow, as she lowered her bow. "You want to get out of these grounds alive, I suggest that you tell us what's going on."

"I'm not the one that can explain that, I can only tell you about some guy who was after her and tried to get her under some kind of spell. perhaps to know the whole story, you'll have to ask Levia herself." He nodded at the girl, staring straight in Lorn's eyes. Moments like these were so fragile, he could break his promise and earn himself the money, but he wouldn't.
"Elliot!" Dedelean screamed, she was in an alley, calling up statics from the movement of her sleeves against each other. She was attacked by two kids, they were young, maybe even younger than her. One was a girl, the other a boy, the girl had attacked first, she slammed Lean off the streets and into the alley where Elliot had changed shape. Where was he? He was supposed to save her? "Elliot!"
Elliot ran to the balcony, searching for Dedelean in the streets. "Dedi!" He yelled. "We have to..." Kasta and Lorn looked at him without any emotion. He knew they wouldn't help, in front of their eyes he changed back into a mountain lion, and was ready to jump.
