(hmmm... What's this whole "passenger" thing? ) Aleron circled the building. He saw the man leave, but he was too weak to go after him. He saw Lauren fetch help for Nefara. She'd be safe...for now. He needed to revive himself and deal with the situations at hand. Things were happening, too fast and too confusing for even him to understand. He knew he was being hunted. But by whom exactly? And should he tell Nefara the full story? Did she deserve to know? Should she know? Troubling thoughts swirled, as he fled into the twilight.

Chris sighed, his mind was having a struggle, between reality and what he could believe. Humans equal cattle, it did make sense, didn't it? Vampires like Carden had survived life times, and even with the kills... he had never heard anything about Vampires on the television, except for stories. He took Carden's hand. "Please, help me." He said. Maybe this way he might find out what he was, who he was, and who turned him, before he lost all memory and woke up in the dark, afraid of the light.
Cecelia stopped when she came out of the elevator. She felt the aura's that were present, but the Vampire seemed to be gone already. She did feel something else, something as strong, but different. She turned and run, that feeling, it made her leave in fear, fear of unknown. This day had to be over fast, party, and then going back to the other Kriivada, he would help her out of the mess. The Vampires aura was still around, had been there, left it's mark, and maybe it would come back. What was her name again? Who did Scarlet name? Nefara?

(It is what makes him kill. Serial Killers usually feel it, its not a voice, voices telling you to kill is pyschopathic killing. This is more of an unknown feeling telling you to kill.) Lauren looked around seeing a bunch of people just staring. Soon there were paramedics. They hunched over and felt for pulse. But she was perfectly fine. "She will be just fine ma'am. We are going to need someone to come with her though so mind riding with us?" Lauren nodded and followed the stretched with Nefara on it down the hall to the elevator. They got on and pressed for first floor. -Hours Later, Around 2200 Hrs. 10:00 Pm - Nefara's eyes opened and her head hurt. Lauren was there. Lauren saw her eyes open and rushed to the side of the bed. "Your awake!" She was twitchy and nervous. She was holding her hand already and you could tell she had been very upset. Her blonde hair was tangled, her eyes red and her nose was red. "I thought something bad might have happened...." "Everythings fine... My head just hurts." She rubbed her head and looked around. She was in the hospital but why... She tried to remember but... Aleron... She could remember only him. First talking, then being thrown to the floor, then him darting out the window. She picked up a bat and that was the end of it. She shook her head. It made no sense. But voices echoed in her head. A message. Meet me as soon as possible. East campus. Tonight. By the old church, he said to her. I'm sorry... Lauren shook her. "What the hell happened? The doctor said someone drugged you. But I heard you scream rapist. No one was around there and we looked everywhere for who did it. No one, they got away. I am so sorry. I can't believe I wasn't there. How could I have just walked away I mean your my best friend and I can't believe what I did I mean I am just so sorry I was not there I do not know what I would do-" "Lauren calm down. I am fine, just I can't remember sh-- from then. Its weird." She smiled to make sure Lauren understood. Lauren was getting too upset over the deal. But then again she did see her best friend slaughtered.

Nefara sat there, looking at the sheets. Lauren smiled. "They said that they'll keep you overnight then let you go in the morning. They just want to monitor you. Hopefully you won't miss any classes," Lauren said. Nefara nodded, still trying to grasp the images and sounds that darted in her memory. "Great. Thanks. Will you be ok? I mean.. I know that this must be hard for you. But I'm fine. Trust me." Lauren nodded. "I guess. Sure. I'm good. I'm just so worried about you." "You get some rest. I'll be safe here. I'll see you tomorrow." Lauren smiled and got up. "See ya," then left.
Nefara dozed. They said that she might have a small concussion too. Sitting up, she heard a tapping on the window. It was dark out. She looked around. There at her window was a large crow. A crow. She frowned, but got up and opened the window. She watched with wide eyes as Aleron appeared before her. "Aleron..." Nefara murmered, shaking her head. Every memory was so fuzzy! "You are hurt," Aleron said. "I'm so sorry. He was after me. I shouldn't have risked you..." Aleron paused, seeing Nefara looking confused and lost. "Are you ok? You are ok, right? I see no problem..." "I'm fine. Concussion though." "Ah. Here, let me help..." Aleron said, pressing his cool fingers to her temples. Nefara gasped, as everything came back to her. The crazy hunter, Aleron, what he told her, getting stabbed by the syringe. "Aleron!" she said, finally fully remembering! "Shhh!" Aleron said. "I wanted to discuss other matters with you, but I can't here. Not private enough. I need to stay low for a while. You will be watched too much for me to come to you." "No! Wait! I have so many questions!" "I bet you do. Fine, I don't think anyone is here. Ask me a few and I'll try my best to answer them." "Tell me about my other and how you knew her." Aleron pursed his lips. "This is... difficult for me to tell you. But I guess I must. You have the right to know. She was... a vampire. We were friends. We found company with each other, because we both envied the humans for their...morality, I guess. And for what we lost. As I said, her name was Elvira. Or at least that is what she called herself after she was turned." Aleron never made eye contact with Nefara. "Why would you protect me? Why was my mother a--" "I think that you need some rest now, Nefara. Lets stop there for tonight," Aleron interrupted. "But--" "Please, Nefara. You might think you're ready to know, but I might not be ready to tell. Not all at once... All in due time." "When will I see you next?" "I don't think. Things are unsure, like I said. But you will, hopefully, soon."
Carden waited for Chris to get to his feet. Chris took a deep breath, as his ribs cracked back into place. "You look as good as ever," Carden joked. "Ok, back on track," he said, with a smirk. Tell me, what time is it?" "Um... Late? I can't see the sun, so I wouldn't know." "I can tell that you are still denying your full abilities, weather you are aware of it or not. You will always know where the sun it. This ability will tell you when it may be safe to go outside... Close your eyes and feel with your mind..." Carden said. Chris did as he was instructed. After a few minutes, he murmered. "It's around 7:00...PM of course." "There! Now I bet you're feeling quite famished. Let us have some fun. I'll show you how to really embrace your nature..." Carde said. "Try and keep up..." he said, as he flitted off down the tunnel.

"Embrace my nature? As in killing." Chris felt he was more asking it to himself, because Carden didn't answer or look back to state a "yes". He just followed him, not thinking again.

(ok... ;D)
It was past sunset when Chris and Caden reached the surface. They had followed the subway tunnels for over thirty miles. Chris was amazed at the incredible time they had accomplished. They reached a fairly large city, where there were plenty of people and plenty of things to do. Caden lead Chris through the crowds. "Ah, smell the air? It's not your blooming meadow, but still as good as anything else," Carden said. They moved with ease through the crowds, as people unconsciously parted before them, avoiding touch. "When you are awakened, your "spirit" if that's what you want to call it, becomes stronger. It's a sort of an aura. Vampires, Kriivida...we all have it. When you don't keep it hidden, humans can sense it to a certain extent. It says 'danger'. All instinct, I guess." Chris looked around, observing how people averted their eyes and moved away. He could feel his stomach tighten with apprehension and starvation. "I know this club downtown. I haven't been there in quite some time. Never good to kill close to home or in the same spot more than once or twice..."

Lauren sat in bed. Up all night long just worrying. She was scared that it might be something more. Something vile. She remembered walking to the room, then going to the library for no reason, then came back to the room. She couldn't remember. Lauren nearly fainted. It was like last time. When her friend was killed. She remembered the man staring at her and suddenly she just walked hom for no reason. It was strange to happen twice. But to her two friends. That was too much. She worried and opened up her phone. 30 new messages. She sighed.
All the careful work. The preparation for the night and it was all wasted on being too quick. At least he knew who he was fightning he could sense the smell now. Just standing outside the dorms he felt the smell of the fury that happened there not too long ago. The night's moon glistened above, dark, devious, daring moon. Shinning its embrace upon the world. He smiled, looking around at the party. Parties were never my thing. The noise, the confusion. It was all too much. Order within a party was limited by only the drinking allowed. And this party had its own stash of alcohol. He sniffed the drugs within the air. It would be a choatic night. But he was here for one reason. Vampires... They loved the choatic parties. People wandered and no one saw. Missing people occoured often around here. And soon they were just found wrecked on the road when the vampires covered their kills. The spark was in the night. Though his passenger was sleeping tight he felt the need to be here. He needed to find prey. He walked around and acted like any other student. A polite wolf, in sheep's clothing.

Nefara lay in bed, confused. Her curiosity was killing her. Why would Aleron not want to tell her everything? He said it was for her own safety. But there had to be more than that. Sleep eventually overcame her restless mind, but her wondering didn't stop there. Perhaps something in her thoughts made her bring up the vision, but it gave her few answers and even more questions...
Aleron walked in through the door. A woman sat on the bed, playing with a small child, no older than two. The child and the mother both had long, straight, raven-black hair. The mother's eyes were blue, while the child's were black as her hair. The woman looked up. "Aleron...?" she said, standing. The child clung to her dress. "What are you doing here?" "Elvira, no time now. The Kriivida are on their way." "What? How did they find out? Why?" "I don't know, but they're coming. A group of them. To kill you and take the child. I can't fight them all off." Elvira paced. "But Nefara..." "Will be fine. I can carry her. It's you that I can't." She nodded. "You said you hated me. Why did you come back?" "I said that I hated you, and perhaps I still do. But that doesn't have to mean I wish your death..." "Why Kriivida? I'm human..." "They don't know that. You don't look all that human either. Not any more. Besides, they think you killed Mera." "But she was killed trying to help me!" "Exactly. The problem is Kriivida aren't known for waiting and listening patiently. Now hurry!" Nefara's vision blurred, as another scene appeared. Elvira was lying on the ground, bleeding. "Tell me, Elvira, what did you do with the child?" "Never..." Elvira said, spitting blood. "She will be like no other though... Are you afraid, Jeve? You better be!" Elvira said, laughing. In her last moments of life, she seemed to once again take up the nature of her darker side, as if she had never returned to humanity. There was a scream, as two Kriivida fell dead to the ground. Another scream. "Aleron! He's here! Get him!" Aleron flitted in the shadow, as he took down each Kriivida. Finally only Jeve stood, facing Aleron. Fear was in the air, but Jeve kept a calm, impassive face. "You think that killing me will stop us?" "No. I know that. But it's a darn good start."

Chris looked at Carden confused. "Close to home? If you've already been in that place before, killing... why are we going there?" He asked.
"Are you ready?" Scarlet asked her roommate when they entered the party, they looked around, the crowd was enormous, people with drinks were everywhere. "Ce?" Cecelia looked around as well, but she wasn't in the mood for partying, she wanted to find the Vampire and kill him. His aura was still fresh in her mind, he was strong. She would need to meet with her parent's friend soon, the sooner it was done, the better. "Yes, I'm ready." She said, trying to smile. "You're not getting sick, are you?" "No, of course not." She turned her eyes away from Scarlet. "I'll go and get some drinks!" Cecelia walked away, over to the large table where a lot of red cups were standing ready for people to take them. She stared at them first, then she noticed something else. A man caught his attention, a bit older than the other students, and it looked like he was searching for something. (hint, hint Dark) She walked right up to him, acting like she didn't saw him and spilling one of her drinks on his clothes. "Oh, I'm sorry sir!" She said.

Dexter backed up playing the part. He raised his hands and hunched over. Great... his clothes were ruined. And now he was looked at by several people. This is not what Harry had in mind for blending in. He shook his hands. "Its alright." He looked at her and repeated in his head. I will not kill her... I will not kill her... He took his overshirt off and shook it out and then walked to his car. He only had his murdering clothes. But that would have to wait for later. He got into his car and looked in the back seat grabbing the small jacket he had. It would work seeing it was a cold fall evening.

Carden laughed. "When I meant I've been here before, it was over seventeen years back. It's been a while... I don't think anyone here would recognize me." "Oh." "Come on, I can tell you're anxious. I'd like to see what you have in mind," Carden said, as if talking about choosing meats at a butcher.
Aleron made his way through the campus. He had other things to deal with. One being that he would not let a damn Kriivida on his territory! Pacing back and forth, he sighed. Should he wait back at her dorm? He knew where Cecelia was. Or should he look? Or should he call in some friend? No. Things would get tricky. What had alerted the Kriivida to his whereabouts? He didn't kill humans, only animals. And he didn't really allow other vampires here. Was it Nefara? Had they finally located her? Too many questions. Too little answers. The less Nefara knew about the darker world, the better. Her mother would've wanted it that way.
They could feel the beat of the music vibrate through their bodies as Carden and Chris entered the club. Strobe lights and the iridescent music gave things an electric mood. "Are you sure this is a good place?" Chris asked. "Perfect," Carden said smiling. "Hey, ladies..." he said, walking up to the bar. His eyes looked even darker under the color of the lights. "Hey..." The two girls said, smiling. Carden turned to Chris. "This is my friend. Why don't you say hello to these lovely ladies!" he said, grinning. There was an alluring charm, as Carden wrapped an arm around one, leading her away from the bar. "Let me get you a drink..." he said, as he turned to Chris, giving him a wink. I'll keep tabs on you. Don't worry, I won't be far off... Enjoy yourself. It is a great club after all. Lots of dark corners... Chris heard in his head. That was another trick he'd have to try sometime. Chris turned to look at the girl as she watched her friend go off with Carden.

Dexter moved back into the crowds. He felt his jacket pocket. The syringe was there. Perfect. A just in case measure. He walked around and then stopped abruptly. He saw someone moving in the shadows, his predator instincts kicked in and the Passenger awakened. It still wanted some fun with him. It was strange for the Passenger to take over twice in a week. Driving him from the backseat of his mind. He moved through the crowd with the eyes of the predator locking on his prey. He stopped shortly seeing a man with a young girl in his arms walk past. (Hint Hint) He looked at him. He already could tell, like he did with Last Nurse. Ah how he remembered her. He allowed his mind to wander as he looked at the party. It was back a few years, back when he was 18. Always feeding his Passenger with the lingering animals and feral monkies that escaped. Those were always his favorite. So close to humans, but it always felt empty. The call... From Deb. Her voice full of shock. He remembered almost perfectly. Walking to the counter, smelling the smells of the roses already. He walked into Harry's room. He was on life support. Barely able to talk. He stayed with Harry for an hour as he spoke in his whispy voice. He saw the nurse come in. He felt his passenger snarl at her. She was one. He saw her placing the morphine needle into the tube. Harry spoke softly. "No.... No.... shot." She kept going, that was until Dexter intervined with his hand. He had to grab her hand just to stop her. She looked at him like a wolf looks at a bear when it takes its prey. Then she smiled and turned back to the sweet nurse and spoke "No problem." Deb was there. She did not see it. Harry and Dexter did. "You... felt it too..." Harry looked at Dexter. "She is like you..." Deb was just dumbfounded. Dexter spoke. "What should I do?" Harry paused. "Stop her..." Deb finally said something. "What the ---- is going on Dex?" She always had a mouth. "The nurse is giving him too much morphine, on purpose." Deb stepped back. "I will get the doctor to take it down." She left the room. "Stop her...." Harry spoke. Dexter sighed. "Stop her?" Was he really giving him permission to take her life? "Like the monkey?" Harry nodded. "Yes. Like the monkey. I cannot stop... you... for what you.... will become. You... will take a human life, and I... will not be there forever to stop... you. But you have to.... remember the code... Dexter. That will teach you who deserves it,... and who doesn't...." Dexter walked out. He was free. Harry finally let him take a human life. He felt a new door open. He felt alive, free. And he remembered that night at her house. His careful preparations. His tedious planning. All for the greater cause to satisfy his hunger. His thirst. Someone bumped into Dexter and pushed him aside. He looked at the person and saw the Darkness within. He could tell it was not a vampire. But it held a darker sense within. Why was it that all these parties always had the murderers. He sighed. He would save this one for later. His passenger was not even up to killing status. He would wait for him to doom himself.
Lauren sighed. She was bored, and the noise outside made it impossible to do anything but watch. She went to the closet and grabbed a jacket and then started to walk out. She paused, she went back and grabbed some Mace. It would help. At least that is if she saw him... She shook her head. Stop he will never been seen again. He left remember. Remember what he said... She held back the tears and distracted herself with walking. She wanted to be outside. To be normal. -After the tedious walk -.- - She was outside. The music vibrated the ground and the people were everywhere. She moved around and then a man bumped into her. He appologized and stared into his eyes. She stared back and saw a nice guy. She smiled and blushed. He was very cute and she felt his warm securing arm around her. He looked back and smiled. "Hey do you wanna blow this place and go to a club?" He smirked and suddenly she did. It made no sense why not. Seriously he was a pleasant guy. And what a great smile. She turned to the side and saw a man. The same one who was at the cafeteria earlier. He was staring at the man with the eyes of a hawk. She saw him pull out a syringe and squeeze the air out. Suddenly she looked back into the mans eyes and started walking with him. (Hint he is gunna bring her to the Club. Thought I combine both the places with my charactor.)
Dexter saw the man walk up and bump into the small girl. She was young and he saw her eyes. She was an innocent. But the Passenger had other ideas. But she did not meet Harry's Code. Without that there was no killing. He saw them both walking. He had his code locked for this target. But his Passenger told him to leave it. There was the other prey. He looked around and then saw the man just a foot from him almost within an instant. He recongized the man instantly. The man who was with that girl. Nefara. Dexter smiled. "Why good evening." He knew if the vampire wanted him dead he would already be dead. Dexter faced him full front. He felt the Passenger taking control, he wanted to shove the needle into him, but witnesses. Did not meet Harry's Code. The man who was a good inch taller smirked back. "Good evening..." (Hint for Kyana, take control, just keep the Passenger aspect of it.)

Chris felt something within him take over, something dark, and unknown, but he liked it. He took the girl along with him, to some dark corner, where the music was less loud and there weren't so many people. They sat down far away from the crowd, and she started to talk, to ask questions, and he would answer them and ask back. But he mainly paid attention on her heart beat, that was sometimes louder than her voice, or his own. He wanted to kill her, because he was thirsty. And that thirst was so strong that it even went before his thoughts of wrong and right. But was it wrong? He needed to feed, needed to survive, it was life, life was cruel.
Cecelia laughed when the man walked away from her, she had now probably sent him away from the party, and in that case, her mission had worked. She walked back to Scarlet. "What was that about?" She asked, laughing as well. "I didn't saw him." Cecelia grinned. Her roommate shook her head. "Do you like him?" She asked at an under tone. Cecelia shook her head, heavily overreacted. "Nooo!" Then she sensed the strong Aura of the Vampire again, that must mean he wasn't far away. just behind the wall at her back, outside. "I have to catch some fresh air, Scar. See you later." She said, and moved her way outside. Maybe, just maybe, she could win a fight, at least she would send her parent's friend a text to warn him.

(hmmm. I'm a little confused. Agh. Lets see if I get this straight XD
- Chris and Carden are at a club in the city enjoying themselves - (the college and the city where the club are fairly close) Aleron is walking through the campus, passing time - Dex is at a party and he sees Aleron - Cecelia is at the same party as Dex. - This is where I'm a little lost. Lauren. She is at the same party as Dex and Cecelia (right?) But who does she meet? It couldn't have been Aleron?)
