This might seem like your same-old vampire roleplay, but you'll soon see that nothing is ever what you think. Some snippets and ideas are based off the books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Vampires:Lets cut to the chase. No holy objects affect them (crosses, garlic, holy water, ect.). Stakes won't do much. The only thing is sunlight. Direct, full-on sunlight will turn a vampire to ash in a cinch. Sunlight will burn then, but if it's not that strong, it won't mean sudden death or anything. Some can tolerate certain amounts of sunlight (not light in general). They can be injured, but heal incredibly fast and have little sense of minor pain. The only other way to kill a vampire is to decapitate (behead). Vampire powers include the following: increased senses, speed, agility, strength and whatnot. And of course, immortality, appearing in the age they you were changed. The usual abilities is the power to manipulate human thoughts, "flitting" (move invisibly fast), and even limited shapeshifting (usually owls, ravens, crows, bats [haha], wolves (or large dogs, I guess), and other nocturnal creatures. It does take a lot of energy to shapeshift, and usually, a vampire only can specialize in one animal, if any at all. Only the most powerful can even shapeshift. One of the identifying things for them (besides the unusual paleness) is their black eyes, as if they lack an iris (and duh, they have fangs -_- The Hunters (Kriivida, and The Vida for short):The Kriivida is an order, descending from the very powerful Kriivida family that has devoted itself to the killing of vampires. The Kriivida are more than human. Humans called them shamans, healers, witches (and more), when they believed in such magic. Many are just that: witches. Despite their given title, there are Kriivida that are not hunters, though the majority are and spend their life devoted to killing them. Vampire mind-manipulation can work on Kriivida, but is not as potent (or strong), especially for more experienced and powerful Kriivida. Their powers lie in magic. They are stronger and faster than the average human, but their strength, speed and senses do not compare to that of a very strong and competent vampire. Perhaps the average vampire is at an equal with a expertly-trained Kriivida. They make up for this weakness in their magic. Many know the nature of the earth and are good healers of both soul and body. All draw power from the sun, their source. They can use the moon, which basically is the reflected light of the sun sometimes too, but it must be a bright, full moon. They use Solis Stones to store energy and reserves from the sun (think like a battery or energy drink XD) But these can be easily depleted. Their sole weapon is made out of Solian (like magical steel). It is used to create their weapons, and because of the magic woven in, is like poison to vampires. A cut from a Solis blade reverts the flesh temporary back to mortal state in a way, so that it must heal as if they were human. So to inflict a mortal wound with the blade, would be death to any vampire. They've tried to make Solis bullets, but in order for the weapon to retain it's power, the wielder must be a Kriivida, and know the magics. It's the affiliation with the sun that is in part why it's so lethal to vampires. Their symbol (crest) is a tribal-looking sun (see this image for reference) over black shadowing tendrils, rounded by silver ((basically a sun-like crest)). Full members wear this as a tattoo on the back of their necks. There are other people besides the Kriivida who hunt vampires. The only thing is that they are disadvantaged, because they lack the magic and skill of the Kriivida. Many can get tutelage from the Kriivida, but they still lack the natural abilities and magic potential that comes from the ancient Kriivida bloodline. This will take place in the New England area, United States of America. Let's say Massachusetts state. This can be the focal point of the roleplay, but your character(s) can start off anywhere or whatnot. There's plenty of local colleges, high schools, towns, where characters can start off in. The town itself is a made up place. It's near two made up average colleges, is a fairly large district. Everything is pretty lose, which is how I like it!
So choose: human, vampire, hunter... be wise about your choice. She's not like other girls her age. She's a good student, but she's haunted by strange-surreal nightmares, and she sees things every now and then that shouldn't be there. History:She lives with foster parents, since her mother died at birth. She never knew her father, only that he died while her mother was pregnant. She is now in college. Ever since she was little, she'd been different. She was a good child, but even the other young kids knew she was different and stayed away. Now in college, just turned 19, she's feels that someone is following her... Name: Elvira Athers of Sendre Gender: female Race: vampire Age: unknown Appearance Age: like she's 30ish, still young though Appearance: IMG - eyes: black - hair: raven black - skin: extremely pale - other: she wears her wedding ring around her neck Personality: She's haunted by her past. Elvira is fierce at times, and can be cruel, as the world has always been cruel to her. She is very loyal and can be loving too. She will protect her daughter through anything, and is still learning how to be a mother in many aspects. She walks a tedious balance between revenge and forgiveness. A very interesting character ;D History:As far back as the 1500s, she was human. She married , Lord Oden Ather. He was a high ranking Council Member of the Kriivida. The Kriivida looked down upon the union because it wasn't respectable for a Kriivida to marry human, especially such a respectable and high ranking one. Gabriel, a vampire, sought revenge against Lord Ather. He saw that the best punishment was to change his wife, Elvira. He stole her away one night and forced changed her. He later met Lord Oden to deliver the message that she was his now. Forever bound to the darkness which the Kriivida hunted. Lord Ather despaired even more when the Council ordered him to hunt down Elvira and kill her. When he finally finds Elvira, he can't bring himself to kill her, and lets Elvira escape. As a consequence, he is executed. Elvira finds this out and takes the body from the gallows. Gabriel finds her and makes her leave, because the Kriivida were coming. Elvira know that she is with a child. She searched for so many ways to become human again. Finally she seeks out her best friend, Senora, who is a powerful Kriivida "shamen" for lack of a better term. She agrees to try and help Elvira find a way back to mortality, agreeing mostly for the sake of their old friendship and for the child. After many years, Senora finds something that might allow Elvira to revert back. 19 years prior to the beginning of the rp, they preform this. As a result, Senora is killed from the amount of energy and power, but Elvira is human. (scene)This lets loose a huge surge of events. Elvira is hunted once again, as a rumor get's out about this. She flees with her new child, and is aided by Alleron whom she befriended a hundred years or so back. She finds Gabriel and asks him to help her. In a mix of events she passes Nefara, the baby, off to Alleron to protect her, as she can't escape in time, being human. Samuel, and the other Kriivida, capture Elvira. During those 19 years, Sam tortures Elvira for the information on her child. She eventually loses the will to live and is so broken and injured beyond almost all repair, that on the verge of death, Sam forces a vampire to change her back. But, because of probably all the stress on her body and other magical side effects, Elvira falls into a strange coma. Half alive, half dead. Breathing, heart beating, but not aging. She is bargained for by Gabriel for Nefara at this point and is later awoken by his blood (as it was the key to her awakening). She's in a strange predicament at the moment, not satisfied by human blood, but vampire blood. Now a vampire again, she is very powerful (much attributed from her age as well). In her window, still the same age. But those dreams have not been occouring so often. She can still see his bright white teeth. His keen black eyes, and his short black hair. (I shall start to feel special)
Lauren smiled and watched the clock. Three... Two... One... She got her things, but hte clock was fast. She cursed under her breath. The professor still talked. She kept watching the clock. Ten seconds after... Twenty... Nefara smirked. "Three... two... one..." The bell rang. Lauren looked at her. "Lucky Guess..." She smiled and grabbed her laptop and phone. She turned it on and walked out. The crowd had already buldged at the main entrence. But hey knew the secondary route. They walked together alone. Lauren began just to talk. "Tonight's work is going to suck. An Essay! Seriously its going to be a long night. What are you going to write for English?" Nefara turned around and looked behind her. Lauren looked too seeing a blur of shadows. Goosebumps went straight up her back and neck. It was getting late. They sped up a bit and kept talking Nefara looking back occassionally. But soon they were outside the school. Nefara sighed as she saw the crowds and walked into them. Everyone was going back to either their houses or to their dorms. Lauren pushed open the door and walked in putting her laptop on her desk. She sat down and opened her cellphone and began to text. "So any plans this weekend Nefara?" She smirked and began to text some more.
(Dexter I am going to do more with first person. He is kindof narrating through his life)
He smiled. Upon his apartment against the shores of the Cape. He looked back down to his slides. His precious slides. He looked at the 29th. The Priest. Oh how he loved the priest. The dispair in his begging. His mornful sorrows as his own dark passanger killed those children... Children, how could he have done such. He looked back in. Looking deeply into the blood. His phone rang. He stopped and picked it up. "Dexter Morgan" he said. It was Debra, his foster sister. "We have a case, its pretty (----)ed up... You... You got to come down here Dex." She hung up. Something was wrong. Very... He cloed his phone, put the blood sldie carefully into his slide holder and then placed that carefully into his airconditioner unit. Prying off the lid and putting it inside. He went outside, locking his doors and getting into the car. He drove down, they had the scene taped off. He flashed his indentification and walked in carrying his camera. He found the body. A hooker, her has several tatoos. Debra was there. "She was just a cop on the beat to shake down johns. Something did this to her Dex. I mean I saw her today. She has kids Dex." Debra was pretty upset. But Dexter looked closer. There was no blood. "Wheres the blood?" Debra nearly broke appart. "There is no (----)ing blood. Not even a drog anywhere around here." Dexter looked to her wrists. They were slit opened. But still not a drop of blood. Looks like he found his prey.

(I feel special being second)
Cecelia waited minutes before finally appearing in the hall way, she looked around, her books closely against her chest. She took out her headphones and began to listen again. She had brought a new album the day before, by Carolina Liar. Just like all the other albums and artists on her ipod, this one made her feel away from the world, even it was just a few seconds before a friend came up to her and started talking. She nearly paid attention. "Ce, what are we going to do tonight?" Sofie, a gothic girl asked her. Cecelia shook her head, she had different things to do, a note had came to here that a Vampire was hiding within the church of Kensington (I guess i made up a town name ). "No, sorry. I have some things to do." "You're not saying you're really going to make that homework, are you!?" "No, ofcourse not. I never make that, remember." Cecelia smirked, but she did make it, always. "I'll just see you tomorrow, okay?" "Tomorrow?" Scarlet asked, surprised. "The Party, remember?" Cecelia laughed, and put back on her headphones. "Oh, yes. The party."
Chris cleared an other table and got back behind the bar, he gave out some beers to townspeople and cleaned the dishes. He tried to look as normal as he could, although he was weak and scared. He needed some blood, last time he broke into a hospital, maybe he would do that again? "Hey, boy!" A man called for him, he ran up to him. "I've never seen you around, what's your name?" The man was old, his face was hiding behind a big beard. "Chris, sir. Chris Martin. And I'm new in town." Chris muttered. "Oh, sure you are. Well, hand me over some beer, Chris!" Chris did what the man asked, and he passed the lovely Elena. "Are they bothering you, Chris?" She asked with a razor smile. Chris shook his head. "No." He said shortly. He brought the beer to the old man and walked back up to her. She smiled as he lay his hands around her shoulders. "Plans for tonight?" "Work." "Plans for tomorrow?" "Work." "Do you ever not work?" She was getting pretty annoyed by his answers. "Breakfast than?" Chris shook his head, breakfast meant morning, morning meant sunlight. He had read Vampire stories, they couldn't take the sunlight. "Dinner? Tonight?" Her eyes lit up, like diamonds. "How late do you get off?" "Ten, and you too, so we can go together." She blushed and went back to work, it was a yes, she didn't have to answer that. Chris sighed. One dinner with her, after that nothing, he couldn't afford getting close to anyone.

(Lauren know about Nefara's visions, right? Lets have it for now, that Nefara just tells Lauren about some of her nightmares, but not in great detail or anything, and not that they're about vampires or whatnot. They're just dark and scary, but they're good friends. And I have them as roommates ) Nefara shook her head. "I don't know. I'm so busy... Tomorrow, I hear that there'll be a party in town. We can head out there and see what's happening?" Lauren smiled. "Sounds like a plan." They walked down the hall to their dorm. Nefara put her books down on her desk. "As I said, I should get that damn essay done. I can't believe we're sophomores now! Even more homework..." she sighed. "I think that I'm going to head in early though. Get some much needed rest." Lauren looked at her incredulously. "What?!?" she asked, "but it's only like, eight at night!" "I know, but we've been up until 2am every night... or morning, I should say. I feel as if I've been on a nocturnal schedule! And, since we're not Freshmen anymore, I only have one early morning class... I'll catch you later?" "Yea. Sure..." Lauren said, as she left. (I'm going to speed things up a little XD and all Nefara's dreams are in present tense, to make them sound different ) A little girl, no older than six or seven plays in the meadow with some dolls. It is getting late, and her mother calls for her, but she doesn’t listen, or she can’t hear. “Haley? Haley! Come here! Dinner is getting cold! Where are you?” In the trees, a large dog circles quietly. A young men step out of the trees, walking over to the little girl. “Hello,” he says. He is tall with dark hair, and even darker eyes. His smile is warm, and charming. “Hello, sir…” the girl says, returning the smile. She has soft, blonde hair, with green eyes. Her frock is torn and dirty and her bonnet has almost fallen off her head, but she doesn’t seem to mind; she is content. “Do you need help? Not many travel here, it is long off to a city,” she says. “Oh no. I’m just on my way. What are you doing? Who are your dollies?” The girl, distracted, beams. “This is Missie; she’s my favorite!” she paused. “Will you play with me?” she asked, handing him a faded doll. The young man smiled, taking it. “Will you come with me first? I know a great spot we can play in. I want you to meet one of my friends…” The girl frowns, sensing that something is amiss, but only for a second. “Sure!” she exclaims, taking his hand… The young man and the girl walk up to a small, abandoned shack. Another young, and similar-looking man lies on the floor. His clothes are torn, and bloodied, the front of his shirt ripped open. He looks to be dead, except he turns to look at the two visitors. “Look what I brought you, Aleron!” he says. “Doesn’t she look…fine?” he asks, grinning. The girl looked around, nervous. “I want to go home to Mama. I don’t want to play here…” she said, dropping Missie. Aleron looks at the girl. “She’s so young…” he says, brows knit. “The younger, the betters, you know…” the other man said. Aleron shook his head. “No, not this girl. Get me someone older. A criminal perhaps, or a man on the verge of death, Carden.” The young man, Carden, laughs. The little girl tried to pull away. The laugh was anything by human; it was feral, cruel. She starts to cry. “Mama! Mama!” “Hush…” Carden whispers, pressing a finger over her lips. He caught her eye, “Hush,” and she immediately calmed down, her eyes going glassy. “Aleron, that Kriivida nearly killed you. You need to eat, or you’ll die too!” Carden snapped. "You should be glad that that Solis blade didn't kill you on the spot and that I'm here to help you!" “Yes, but someone else!” Aleron argued back, as he flinched in pain. He gasped as he pulled the ragged cloth aside to assess the wound. It was oozing blood slowly, which looked back in the dark against his pale skin. "You know I won’t take children." Carden scoffed. “But it’s a child’s blood that makes you heal the fastest…” he said, as he barred the girl’s neck. Aleron grimaced, but he seemed too weak to resist any longer. There was a scream, as the bloody scene panned out from the room, as if it were a movie...Nefara woke with a start. She’d seen these young men, Aleron and Carden before in her dreams, but this dream was very different than the others. She looked at her clock: 4 am. She lay back. Her roommate, Lauren, slept soundly. Nefara sat up. She’d seen them kill, murder, seduce, maim, together in a deadly pair. She knew that they were both brothers…both vampires. She’d had these visions and dreams all her life. In the waking hours, she saw little flashes of shadows, a flicker of something, just out of her vision. In sleep, she had visions of magic and blood. Lauren was aware of her nightmares, but never fully aware of how strong they were. These weren't like regular dreams, where once awake, they were only left in whisps. Nefara lay back. Dawn was only a few hours away.

"Chris?" Chris looked up at Elena, who gave him an other beer. "When do you get drunk?" She smirked, having passed that line a long time ago. He wasn't drunk, just dizzy, his every reaction on alcohol was being more off the world, and she kept on giving him more drinks. "No, but I'm pretty far off now, so you can stop giving me more." He said. She nodded, and reached out to kiss him. It startled Chris, amazed he kicked his chair to the back and stood. "Let's go!" He said, hoping she would be too drunk to notice his reaction. "Yeah, yeah, sure!" She said, still smiling, and followed him outside.
Cecelia pulled away her Solis blade from the body and escaped through the window, she landed outside in the grass of the gardens, the church behind her. She stood from falling on her legs and hid the blade. Killing the Vampire had been an easy job, and now she wanted something more... challenging. She sighed as she started to walk back home, she looked at her watch to see the time, it was too late.

(haha. don't worry. i'll help you along.. i have an idea in mind, so keep an eye out XD)
Aleron slung his backpack off his shoulder, as he made his way through the campus. He paused, closing his eyes. The air felt... different. He looked around. There was a couple off a ways, whispering to each other; he cared too little to eavesdrop, but otherwise it was empty. He felt the air shimmer with energy. That meant there was a Kriivida here. On campus. He involuntarily pulled back his lips into a snarl. Old habits die hard. Their weapons release an energy into the air when used, especially when a fight was successful. One the strongest of vampires could sense this energy. It if hadn't been so peaceful tonight, he might not have sensed it at all. Closing his eyes again, he let his senses explore the surroundings. There! He felt a heart beating, strong. The sound was just slightly different from regular hearts. It beat with energy, with pure life. It was the heart of a Kriivida. If there was one, there had to be more... He would have to be very careful. Aleron looked around, to see if there were any bystanders, before shape shifting into his secondary form of a crow. Skimming the trees, he flew over the girl (ahem, Cecelia.. hint hint). That must be her, he could hear her heart beating from here. He flew around from her, memorizing her appearance, should they meet again. He needed to see where she was staying though. Her being here could jeopardize everything, so he followed her, silently, drifting in the shadows on black wings.

Cecelia opened the door to the big house, and she closed it right behind her. She was within the company of a lot of youth now, all going to the same school, but she knew only half of them. In silence she walked up the stairs, entering her room, where Scarlet was already fast asleep. She sighed, that went better than expected. She lay away her blade, far away from human eye, and went to bed after that, while a nervous feeling hunted her. She looked outside, it was dark, the big tree in front of the house was waving along with the wind. There was something else out there, but she couldn't make out what it was, or if she was just scaring herself. Had she gotten rid of Vampire okay? Of course she had, she was trained to do that.

Aleron perched, hidden among the branches, outside Cecelia's house. He saw the blade being put away, he saw her looking out into the darkness. He belief that this girl was a Kriivida was affirmed. He would find out who she was. But should he kill her? He could, there was no doubt. But he had stopped such action since he had left his brother, Carden, two hundred years back, and since he hadn't caused any deaths, no Kriivida had really bothered him, or at least noticed. He had to get a closer look. She had to have a roommate. He flew closer, his claws, catching the windowsill. Cecelia sat up, as she heard the faint scratching. What was that? Getting out of bed, she eased her way to the window. She turned quickly, just to see a crow, which had been perched on the windowsill fly off with a caw. She jumped back. That couldn't be a coincidence. That was a vampire... But was it the one she'd killed? It couldn't be. The one she killed was weak easy prey. A vampire like that wouldn't nearly be powerful enough to be able to shape shift... This must be another one. There were more. She took a deep breath. And this one was powerful, she could feel the traces of his aura on the glass, as she pressed her fingers against it's cold, smooth surface. She felt safe, for now, with the knowledge that the vampire couldn't enter uninvited. But that was only a slight safety. She had to find it, and kill it. This was the challenge she'd been waiting for. Aleron cursed his clumsiness, as he flew of into the night. How could he let her see him! Now she knew for sure! He flew back to his house. It was smaller than the others and set back into the woods, because he rented it alone. He needed to hunt though, and he only have a few hours left of darkness. He jumped out the window again and into the night.
Nefara woke, to see the happy light of sun shining through her window. She sat up, the dream still lingering in her thoughts. Lauren was up, and already dressed. "Hey, sleepy head!" she said to Nefara. "Get your ass out of bed. Classes start in 25 minutes!" Nefara laughed, as she rushed to get ready. "Sleep good?" "Like a baby..." Lauren said. "You didn't have one of your dreams, did you?" Lauren asked. Nefara shook her head. No, this was a different dream. She wouldn't tell Lauren. "Nah. I was so tired, no dream could pervade my sleep! Lets go, I'm ready," Nefara said. At least while it was daylight, she didn't have to worry...

Long day of work, a good earn pay roll. It was all part of the disguise. The job. But there was a new job within. His thirst, his hunger, his darkness cried out for blood. He needed it. Wanted it... He smiled and went out the front door. He passed by an Officer and heard the radio go off. "We have a missing child report. Small young girl, was playing with her dolls, last known place was in the backyard of..." He listened closely to the address the Darkness within smiled. He knew what did it... He would be there soon. He would find them. He got into his car. It was not much but it was a car. He pressed the gas and felt the roar. Tonight was going to be the hunt. He drove quickly and checked the bag in the back. His tools were there, including his 19 inch bone saw. Several Garbage bags, and his knives. Tonight he might get the chance to kill. To reliev his worries and his stress and feel good again. Its been a week since his last kill. Since the new rogue vampire. That had been pure luck to come across. He strode up. The area was already spotted with a few cop cars. He drove past. It was not his place. Plus if he was right the vampire would be elsewhere. He drove down the road and parked getting out and pulling out a syringe. He filled it with a large dose of his knockout and went into the woods. The Dark Passenger called out. He turned and folowed it's sweet voice, its call. And soon he found out why. A shack. He strode into the brush. He was calm. Prepared for the ambush. But first who really was his target. He waited listening intently. His pulse slowed, his eyes adjusted to the darkness of the full moon. His hands froze and his breath was stable. The kill time... The time to strike first. To strike fast and to get in the hit with the syringe.
She smiled just remembering her rough night. Lauren woke up a bit and tossed and turned. She looked at the clock. It was only five. But she was fully awake. It was only four hours of sleep but she couldn't sleep anymore. She yawned and went outside the room. Looking around. There was no lights on, nothing. But the hallway stretched far to each end. She began to walk. Something told her to. She looked around as the doors just all repeated, becoming normal to eachother. It was strange. Surreal almost. She stared ahead and saw a person. A young man holding a Child's Hand. The child was talking. The man led her down the hallway. She carried a doll. Lauren followed them and they seamed never to notice her. She turned the corner and saw the man hunched over. Covered in blood. With the girl. Lauren shot up out of bed, a cold sweat collected on her skin. She looked at the clock. It was a little past four. She breathed heavily and looked towards the door. It was like her dream. She heard someone outside, but it was just two girls who came back from their dates. She sighed. But still was wide awake from the dream. She looked towards Nefara. She whispered quietly. "Nefara you up?" Just loud enough so she can hear, but not to loud to wake her up if she was sleeping. She had went back to sleep. Lauren remembered that night. "Well comon!" She grabbed her sheets and tugged pulling her out of bed. Lauren packed her laptop back in and closed out some of the windows of Vampire Folklore. She always did that when she had dreams of anything. Search them for a meaning. Maybe it was just a coincidence it was that same man in her dream. She held back the sobs from the night. She felt Ship last night. It was a rough hour. A dark hour. She shook her head. Just forget it. You will be just fine. She kept going as Nefara got up. Hopefully she didn't see her talking to herself. She always shook her head when she was talking to herself. Nefara had always been able to tell and always asked what was wrong. That was the only times she talked to herself was when she was on the verge.

Chris opened his eyes, he felt the warm matras under his body and crawled up a bit, he never felt very warm, and he never gave off warmth. He couldn't remember coming home. He didn't have to look besides him to know that he wasn't alone, he was with Elena probably. At least that meant that he hadn't killed her in some dark alley. He rolled to the end of the bed and stood up, putting on the shirt that lay on the ground. In his room it had always been dark, but this time, light from outside shined in through a gap in the curtains. He walked towards it to close, but before that his vision went out to Elena. He pushed himself away from the ground and landed extraordinary fast against the wall at his side of the bed. Elena's neck was all ripped open, her eyes wide of amazement, and there was no blood. Chris started to heavily breath, his chest going up and down like he was choking. He ran out of the bedroom and within seconds had all his stuff together, he needed to get away, again. Then, someone knocked on his door. "Chris! What is happening, you've been making to much noise tonight, come out and explain or I'll come in myself." Chris' sighed, his house-boss could tear it all apart. He ran over to the bathroom and put his hair right, back out to put on some new clothing, ready with his work clothing under his arm he walked over to the door. "Sorry, sir. Next time I'll go to her house." He said to the man with a grin on his face. The man looked around in his living room. "Sure you will! You're lucky boy that it is the first time you do something stupid, next time i'll trow you out!" And he left. Chris closed the door and sat down against it, he felt devastated. He had been walking around for a few years now, and in total, he'd killed around the 4, maybe 5, people. Every kill was always out of his control, he'd been either stoned, drunk, or hungry. Now he needed to find a new life again.
Cecelia couldn't pay attention in class, or talk along with her friends about the party, she was only thinking about the Vampire, the strong Vampire that she would need to hunt to keep the town safe. It wasn't something she could do alone, before even going to her lessons she had called a friend over her parents, a Kriivada as well, one who was powerful enough to help her kill this prey. "Ce?" Cecelia looked up, back in the real world. "Wake up, Ce!" Scarlet laughed. "Car was asking you an important question!" She turned her head to Carmen, the hippie girl. "What are you going to wear tonight?" Carmen asked. Cecelia rose her shoulders. "I don't know, I think I'm staying home." "NO! You are certainly coming, everyone is going, and you can't stay behind!" Scarlet said, first very serious, then smiling like the sun.
Chris put his backpack on the ground when he finally reached the train station, how weird was it to again leave a town. He looked around, it was nice to be outside in the morning, as long as there wasn't any sun to look out for. He had a cap on his head and gloves on and a scarf around his neck. The sooner he was out of here the better, he didn't know how long it would take for anyone to notice that Elena wasn't showing up to work, he had called to his boss to say that they weren't coming. He had already put the blame on himself, no way he could come out of it anymore, the body was hidden in an alley far away from his house, not that it mattered. He saw his ride coming up on screen. Kensington departing in 6 minutes. He stood and followed his card to the right station, stepping in the train that was waiting on him.

Aleron sat up. It was way to early to wake... The room was dark, except for the silvers of light coming in through the edges of the black-out curtains. It kept out the deadly rays of sunlight. Of course he knew what time it was. It was one of those things that all vampires knew: what time it was and how many hours away the dawn and twilight were. He'd tested his endurance in the full sunlight. It was said to be the worst way to die. He could go out in the sunlight in his animal form though. Changing to his human form would kill him, so he couldn't exactly feed, but it was a sort of freedom that hardly other vampire could experience. How he longed though to be able to reach a hand out into the light and not be burned. Getting up, he moved to the computer. He needed to check with his "friend". Just because they were from long ago, didn't mean they didn't use technology. Human, for all their faults, were pretty intuitive about technology! He had to get the reports of the vampire killings. He had his resources on how many vampires were in his territory and what Kriivida sightings there were...
Carden sat down, as the train started to pull away, sitting next to a young man who kept a hood over his head, eyes down (hint hint, Chris XD). "Afraid of someone seeing you?" Carden asked. The young man next to him jumped. "What?!" he said, his voice cracking. Carden smiled. "Relax..." he said with a laugh. "My name is Carden..." he said, reaching out a hand. Chris looked at it, hesitating before taking it. The man wore black leather gloves. His face was the only thing not covered by clothing. "Chris..." Chris noted the long denim pants, and the dark, thick jacket. "Nice you meet you," Carden said, smiling more. Chris' eyes widened as he caught a flash of Carden's fangs. "Ah. Yes, we should talk. Get off at the next stop," Carden said, his voice smooth, but with an alluring edge. "I can see you're having some trouble, my friend."

Something was wrong. It was all to quiet... Not even a breath inside the shack. It was against the darkness. But he moved. He opened the shack. And there on the ground was a dead girl. Torn to shreads. His darkness shouted joyfully. The carnage was clean, not a drop of blood. So neat and so tidy. There was no struggle. Dexter hated it. His Passenger would need to wait. Its already been too long. He needed something, something to satisfy his hunger. He looked at the girl. She was nine, but there were no dolls. His passenger seemed to tell him it was the Vampire who took them. He smiled and walked out and then shouted before taking off so the cops could find it. He jogged away and got back into his car. It was all a waste. The vampire was long gone by now. He put his face into his hands and sighed. He looked up. He turned it on and drove off. He listened to the radio. And heard of the Party tomorrow. His darkness was screaming inside of him. He knew something was going to happen. They would be there. He drove home to prepare.
