"No answer..." Nefara said with dismay, as she closed her cellphone. "Lauren never goes anywhere without her phone! Is she in trouble?" Aleron shook his head. "I don't think she would be. Do you know her number though?" "Yes." "And you say she always has it on her?" "Yea... why?" Nefara asked. "I have a friend who can help..." Aleron said, standing. "Lets go." "Now? It's so late though!" "I don't think my friend will mind..." Aleron said with a smile. Nefara sighed, smiling too. Of course, another vampire.
(um, Galadas, I kinda of have a plan with Carden Chris and especiallly Scarlet... Do you mind if I do a little powerplaying? XD)
Nefara drove, following Aleron's directions. It brought them into the city. Nefara found herself in front of a good-sized building. "Follow me." Aleron lead her through a few doors and down a hallway. He rang the doorbell. "Hey, it's Aleron," he said into the speaker. The door buzzed open. It was dark inside, but there was light in the other room. Inside she was greeted by mutiple keyboards, monitors and computers. "You brought me to a hacker?" she asked, amazed. "Yea, Joseph is a great hacker!" Aleron laughed. "A pleasure to meet you," Joseph said, reclining in his desk chair. "How may I be of service to you two? It's been a while Aleron." "Not too long by our standards..." "True. Aleron and I go way back to the 30's..." Joseph said. "Here," Aleron said, handing him a paper with Lauren's number. "I want the location of this cell phone. It's bound to be GPS-oriented. If not, I need all whereabouts of well-known Kriivida hot spots. I want information on this girl Lauren too. History, background, parentage... Anything." "Can do..." Joseph said. "Payment? Cash or blood?" "Cash, you know my---" "Yes, yes. Thanks," Joseph said, as Aleron handed him a wad of cash. "I'll call you when I get something."

Lauren sat next to Zac and looked at her phone. 13 Missed calls. She watched every one of them called in and she watched as it rang until it went to voice mail. Zac took the phone. "Its time we begin your new life, If you want that is." Lauren swallowed back. "Yea. Go ahead." Zac crushed the phone with his magic. No use of the phone anymore other then scrap.
Dexter Packed his bags and went out. He had his tools, his arms, his weapons of trade. He also had with him his mother's knife. The one he found in Police Evidence that unfaithful day. It was small, sharp, and never dulled. He found out that it really kept a vampire bleeding, and easily killed them. The day he experiemented with that Rouge. The fledgeling. The new blood. How he loved that one, the hunt, the struggle and the knock out blow. He broke his elbow doing that blow. But with a little first aid it was all good. He remebered testing the blade and seeing how it cut open his flesh and it stayed open unlike the other knives. His terror. Was so sweet. (I have an Idea for Dexter, but for now I am keeping him still human.) He looked around and picked up his phone. The map on it had the locations for the party scenes. He took an hour on teen chat rooms to get them. And if this elder vampire was in the area he was most likely at them to feed. He headed out to the campus.

Aleron went of to quickly hunt, leaving Nefara to wait for the call. She read in the meantime, thinking over the days' events. She called Lauren again, but it didn't even ring this time, only going straight to voicemail. She sighed, dropping her phone, tears of frustration and sadness welling in her eyes. She jumped when her phone rang. A part of her hoped it was Lauren, but she knew it wasn't. "You have the information?" she asked Joseph. "Yup. You two can can on over." Nefara called Aleron and they headed back.
Nefara's stomach was tight with anticipation. A fury inside her burned, yearing to attack the Kriivida. She didn't know where that feeling came from, but it was something that was out of character for her. Joseph was sitting in his chair, like before, a big grin on his face. "Well?" Aleron asked. "I had a tracker on the phone, but they much be out of service, or something happened to the phone, because I lost the signal a few minutes ago. I was able to get the last location, so that's a start. As far as this girl's history goes, it's strange. Maybe you can help. She was orphaned by her parents when she was three. According to the news were they were murdered by a gang, who brutally mutilated the bodies." "I doubt that it was a gang. Do you have any news shots?" Joseph pulled them up. "I didn't think so. It have to be a vampire attack." Aleron nodded in agreement. "Where her parents Kriivida? Did you look into that?" "I have no definites, but I think so. They were apart of an organization that taught self defense as a part of safety. Sounds like a Kriivida cover." "How can this be though? She was human though..." Aleron said, confused. "There were no Kriivida things to identify her as one of them!" Nefara took a breath. "Are you sure?" she asked, her face paling. No, Lauren, a Kriivida? Impossible!" "It is possible," Joseph and Aleron said together. "We better get going. Send me the GPS map. We'll track them from there..."

(Yeah, go ahead and powerplay :3)
"Here we are!" Jorge said, readying his gun. Cecelia shook her head. "There's no one here!" She turned round, but the other kriivada caught her arm and brutally pulled her back. "We are staying here!" "What? Why?" Cecelia escaped from his grip, she stared at her new companion. "What is happening? That hunter, that girl, the Vampire that walks through the sun. Something is totally wrong here, Jorge, and I'm not going to sit back and watch or stay here with you!" Jorge shook his head. "You'll stay here with me and wait for that Hunter to return!" "Why? Because he isn't coming back right, and then Sam doesn't have any trouble with me and you. He's hiding something, are you not getting those hints. Who's that Nefara girl? Do you know?" She though she was losing it, she wanted answers, why couldn't she know what was going on? "No, i don't." Jorge spook calmly, walking up to the house of the hunter. "But, as for you, I don't care what you do..." Cecelia nodded, understanding what he was getting at, she turned and ran, back to campus. She had to get her stuff together and go hunt for some answers. Who was Nefara? That was the most important question to her.

Nefara stepped on the gas as they turned onto the highway. They were the only car on the road, then again it was also 2 in the morning. "You know that there could be cops,” Aleron said. Nefara remained quiet, only getting faster. The speedometer hit 85mpg (around 130kmph, I think). After a moment, she said, “I’ll get a vision about it… Don’t worry,” she said with a bitter laugh. “Besides, you can deal with a cop…” she said. “Your visions are getting strong?” “And more frequent,” she sighed. “I’m not sure if that’s a good thing…” “Next exit, get off,” he directed. “They’re on some back roads…”
Carden sank his teeth into the girl’s neck, as he thought of a plan. He left just enough left to leave her sleeping, almost comatose; weak from the lose of blood. He dropped her back onto the bed, her head lulling back, as she moaned. He looked around, going through drawers, papers, files and folders. He found little evidence of a Kriivida. He pulled the books from the shelves, and took the clothes out from the drawers. Something caught his eye. Looking down, he saw a ring. He smiled, wiping the remaining blood from his lips. “What do we have here?” Carden asked, picking up the ring. He could feel the warm Kriivida magic within the metal. Deadly to vampires. If he were to put it on, it’d slowly kill him. He saw the family crest. This was all he needed. Taking the ring, he went back over to the girl in the bed. He slid the ring onto her finger. This would be interesting… he thought to himself, as he bit his own wrist and forced it to the girl’s mouth. When this Kriivida girl returned, she’d have some trouble on her hands… He waited until the girl had taken enough before pulling back. She wasn’t a vampire; no for that you’d need to die, but she was a darkling, an “in-between”. The symptoms of vampirism, without the real powers: light hurt, but didn’t kill, blood called, but wasn’t needed… The ring he had put on her hand would keep things in check, though it would kill her, see how things played out. It would be a fun game. If she died, well she died. Life sucked that way; so delicate… Carden went back to Chris, who was seated in the bed, the now-dead girl, resting besides him. Chris looked up as Carden entered. “Good, you didn’t make a mess. Give me the girl.” Chris frowned. “Why?” “You’ll see,” Carden said, picking up the body. Carden brought her into the other room. Taking a knife out his pocket, he set up the “murder” scene. It’d look like the Kriivida had done this, though of course, being a Kriivida, she’d know who had really done it. “What are you doing?” Chris asked, shocked. “Having some fun… I’ll explain later. For now, we need to go. The other girl is returning. Window!” he said, jumping out and sprinting into the woods.

Chris frowned before going after Carden. "Wait up." He whispered to himself, jumping out of the window, landing in an inhuman way. Even after such a land his memories seemed to come back, how long before he knew more? He couldn't wait, smiling to know his past. And it seemed to be the only thing he was thinking about, he didn't even ask Carden anymore about the 'murder' scene. Now even, he wanted to fight off a kriivada, just to get some more back.
Cecelia stopped running when she reached campus, then waited around before she entered the house again. She sighed, the first two steps were relatively normal, but the next one made her heart beat faster. She felt the aura of a Vampire. No, two! they were gone now, but they had been here. She ran up the stairs, heavily breathing as the scent got thicker as she came closer to her room. No, it couldn't have happened. That wrong feeling, it couldn't have been... She held back her scream when she entered the room. The first thing she was upset about was the destruction of her room, and when she finally was over that was her friend, Scarlet. She closed the door and started crying, her friend was alive, how alive? She knew what this vampire had done, made her half alive... her whole world was falling apart.

(I am going to add a new Charactor, more of Dexter's real father.)
Dexter walked the campus with the bag slung over his shoulder. He looked and saw a dark shadow. Immedately he ducked to the side seeing two figures jumping out of a window and landing quickly on their feet. He snarled and moved closer clutching the knife.
Lauren looked around and then when Zac went to get her a drink she took off and ran outside. Zac ran after her, he was faster but she dodged dipped and ducked into a corner feeling the coldness nip of the night and watching him fly by her. She took off in the direction and began to walk. It was frustrating enough, but now they are calling her a Kravada or something. She was already confused and she could not deal with them. It hurt too much already, her mental wounds and scars. She sat down on the edge of one of the least used roads by the graveyards. Least used because no one drove around here. They always had ghost stories. She looked down the road she came from. It was a few blocks run but she doubt they look for her here. They'd look back at the dorms first most likely. She looked at the freeway just a block away. Seeing a car driving off at this time of night. (Hint Kyana) She ducked away against the brush and watched it drive past zooming. She felt her hair stand up and she wanted to stand up and run after them, but she only stood up and hopped the fence to go into the graveyard. She saw the car slow down for a second. She cursed and sprinted into the misty graveyard.
The air was cold and calm. The wind had picked up only slightly and the scent of a Kriivada. It was a freshling but the power hung in the air. He slid aside and watched the blonde run past him sprinting almost. He smirked and went back to the grave. Tracing the letters. She died a tragic death... He watched as they killed her infront of him. The chainsaw, the screams from Brian and Dex... Dexter... He was still alive. He watched Dexter grow, and become a killer, a murderer, he watched Dexter and Brian both as they grew into the psychopathic killers. And even saw the death of Brian as Dexter put an end to him. He sighed and looked around before drawing back and heading towards the old road no one used. He walked sloly hearing the soft tuss of grass beneath his feet. The cold dew that licked at his boots and the soft breeze that scraped his scalp and put a chill into the air only a horror movie could. He listened to every bird that slept, the bats that flew looking for bugs. He felt the moon's rays upon his body and the freshness of a new night. He ducked to the side and sat down to enjoy the tranquility.

Nefara and Aleron got up. "A graveyard?" she asked. "Expect the unexpected..." Aleron said, eyes sharp. He inhaled, catching just the slightest hint of Kriivida aura. His lips curled back in loathing. "Lets go..." Nefara said, as Aleron handed her a large knife which she sheathed beneath her jacket. She had another dagger strapped to her ankle. It was dark, really dark, but she followed Aleron, her heat racing.
Carden waited until he heard the girl return to her room. "Ah..." he laughed. "Chris, i think we've had some fun for tonight!" he cuckled. "What's wrong?" he asked, seeing Chris silent. "What? Oh, nothing... I just feel like... I don't know getting into a fight or something..." he admited. Carden laughed. "Ah, I like your spirit. But not now. Or at least not here. Come, we have many hours to spend before the dawn comes."

( i watched dexter, hooked, proud? : D )
Chris nodded. "What are we going to do?" His mind wandered off again, he couldn't help it, so much to be discovered.
Cecelia curled up on her bed, waiting for Scarlet to wake. And when she did the kriivada couldn't do anything more than say she was going to be fine. She fell back to sleep so Cecelia could call Sam for help, she needed the help. "Sam, Sam. YOU HAVE TO HELP ME!" "Ce, calm down!" Sam reacted surprised. "Why aren't you with Jorge?" "No, Sam. I was right, I had this wrong feeling. And now... Oh, god. Sam you have to help me." Cecelia tried to calm down, but it was useless.

Lauren slipped aside and took a clump of grass in her hands. Her mind suddenly expanded and she felt out of her own body. She brushed against a black one and immediately felt them attack latching on. She felt them grow over hers and she felt them going towards her. She closed her eyes with a tear rolling feeling the defeat and suddenly she felt her own devour it and send back a powerful attack. The black aura fell back into it's caster and suddenly it was gone. She opened her eyes and drew back her own and dashed away. They were on her trail and she knew the vampire smelt her blood. She turned the corner and saw her... She felt the darkness around her already. Nefara. She stared at Nefara and then Nefara stared back, dagger in hand. Lauren and Nefara were only feet away. Both both locked in a gaze. "And I thought you were my friend." "What the hell is wrong Lauren. Seriously, this man did nothing to me!" "He is a (bleeper)ing Vampire! I can smell it and now all these things are comming back. It took years... Years of psychologist analyzing me and talking to me to say that nothing happened. Years... But I still see that man, that vampire who killed my best friend. And now, your running around with one of them like they are just like us. I thought what we had was special. Friends til' the end. But no. You kept everything from me, your dreams, your feelings, and your past. You led your life in secrecy whist I led mine open wide for you to see. You do not even care anymore." She was beyond tears now. And she felt her mind slowly growing out. She felt her mind wanting to burst, she felt the attack growing and rising and then sent it another way. She watched as the leaves blew up and spirled as her attack was sent. A mental attack nearly physicalized. She backed away from Nefara and readied her mind. Expanding it.
He watched safely from a tree as the Vida sister. She was extremely powerful. He smiled. He remembered her those years ago. As she spoke he saw that faithful day. When he killed ehr best friend... (Dun dun duuuunnnnn!)
Dexter strode towards the building and knelt at the window listening. He felt the darkness inside. Two bodies, both vampires. His heart raced. He held the knife. Its delicately designs felt right in his hands. He felt his heart race more. A feeling, he was alive. He felt happy now. And then the hunger set in. His happiness vanished as the Passenger took his seat. ANd now he felt along for the ride.

(wait..? Ok... I think I get it. I don't think you're referrring to Aleron ?) Nefara covered her eyes from the dirt blowing in the wind. "I told you as much as I could without you thinking I was crazy!" she pleaded, something she never did. "We were friend--are friends... Aleron never killed anyone... Not since coming to America over two hundred years ago!" Nefara said. "It wasn't him!" "He's still a vampire! You're just like him!" Lauren snarled. "I can see it!" Nefara frowned. She was nothing like Aleron. Well not how Lauren saw it. She was still human... That last thought stuck in her head. Wasn't there a vision she had about that? The memory seemed weirdly fuzzy, like most "futuristic" dreams. The future was prone to change, as thus wasn't as clear. "Please, Lauren! Calm down! Give me a chance!" Nefara said, as her own aura flared up against Lauren's. Humans didn't have auras though. Lauren staggered back from the force of Nefara's mental strike. Her face pale with the hurt of betrayal. "I'm sorry," Nefara said, shocked. "I didn't mean to!" she said, seeing what she did. She felt something darker inside her grow; a yearning to kill Lauren, see her bleed. An image of Lauren in Nefara's arms, her throat ripped open flashed in front of Nefara's eyes. "NO!" Nefara screamed, more at the thought of that, than at Lauren, who glared at Nefara, as she fell to her knees. Aleron was there in an instant, appearing from almost nowhere. Nefara looked up at Lauren. "Please..." she said, praying --if there was a god-- that Lauren would see what she saw. Carden lounged back on sofa, a smile layed across his face. He took a breath before getting up. "Shhh..." Carden said. "What?" Carden frowned, as he sent his mind across the property. "I... don't know. I thought I felt something... Probably some stupid deer..." he said, his frown still set in place. "Just... keep an eye out." "Sure..." Chris said, not paying much attention. "You said earlier you had questions... Shoot," Carden said.

Lauren felt the blow. Her aura rose back up uncontrollably She felt it surround Nefara's with all its strength and look for a way in. Lauren felt powerful, Nefara fell to her knees clutching her head from the pain. Lauren saw it. Her darkness. A passenger inside her. She sneered and wanted to end it but drew back her aura. She took her friendship braclet, one that Nefara gave to her long ago. And tossed it on the ground and spat. "Next time that won't mean anything to me." Lauren walked right past her and began to walk away stretching her Aura. She felt Nefara's aura come in contact with Alerons. She felt them shut her out. Together they were powerful. She expanded her aura and felt her own kind. They immedately latched onto hers. Where are you! One of them asked and there was a chorus in her head. She drew back her aura and walked out of the graveyard.
He watched smirking. He watched the two fight. And he saw Lauren walk away. She did not kill Nefara when she had the chance. She should have. But Aleron, he was different. Two hundred years without human blood made him weak. Soon he was next to Nefara talking. Comforting her. He watched and listened in. His ears blocking all other noises around him as he listened intently to their whispers.
Dexter closed his eyes. Good thing he was not a HeadBanger or else he would of never heard the two muffled voices talking in the house. He listened intently clutching the knife. He hear them talk about him. "...Probably some stupid deer..." One of them spoke on the left side of the room. "Just... keep an eye out." "Sure..." The other one said. Picking up something, wood against wood. Most likely a picture... Dexter listened closer "You said earlier you had questions... Shoot," The one on the left said.

As Nefara stared at the silver bracelet on the ground, she felt something crack inside her. She rose to her feet, wiping the tears away. She had tried, and rejected, there was nothing left to feel but anger and resentment. Aleron had not interfered. Not this time. But he had been there if things had gotten out of hand. Next time he wouldn't hold anything back. Nefara picked up the bracelet, and watched as it tarnished and then quickly turned to dust in her palm. She brushed the dust off her hands, watching it blow away. She felt something inside her call for revenge and retribution, but as it reached out, it found itself blocked by her own physical limitations. "Call in the others..." Nefara said with a cold voice. Aleron nodded, as he took out of cell phone. They'd found where a good group of Kriivida were located. When times like this came, usually the vampires descended quickly and in deadly numbers onto the Kriivida. While the average Kriivida was weaker to a vampire, in any large group, the Kriivida could be very dangerous. They posed a threat, and that threat needed to be put down, immediately. Nefara had made Aleron wait, to see if she could get Lauren to see her way, but Lauren had decided her fate; both of their fates. Aleron and Nefara both knew that there was no way Nefara could stay human; it was only Lauren who had kept Nefara human for that long.
(ok, got a little idea, try and go with it for a while ;D) "Lauren!" the man said. "Where have you been? We felt vampires out there!" "Yea, I know..." Lauren said bitterly. "You saw them?" he asked. Lauren exhaled, still angry and hurt. "It was Nefara, right?" some other woman asked. Lauren stiffened, giving the woman her answer. "She needs to die. Her being alive is a threat to us all!" "She's out there, we should take her and her vampire friend down while we have the chance!" the other man said. Lauren turned back to the group. "Why Nefara? I know there's something different about her... her aura... her visions. Why? And how come she's so important to you?" Lauren asked. She was met with downcast eyes, and shuffled feet. "Well... That's not in our power to say. You'd have to ask Sam." Lauren frowned. "Please, just tell me!" she said, a little too harshly, her aura flaring with her frustration. The man looked hesitant, but finally spoke up, the others watching him with intense eyes. "She's part Kriivida and part vampire." "What?" Lauren asked, confused. "How is that... possible?" "We... don't exactly know. We presume that it was her father who was Kriivida and her mother who was human. While her mother was pregnant with her, she was changed against her will. What kept the child alive was her Kriivida blood. The two magics balance out between her, but if she were to change, we don't know what exactly would happen. Some of our best Seers say that she'd have the ability to make a new race of vampires, while other say that she'd be able to kill hundreds of Kriivida... But they say different things. The only thing that's the same, is that it'd be destruction for us and human kind..." "You tell the girl too much!" the woman interjected. "It's Sam's job to inform her! She's barely been here a day! Keep your f*cking mouth shut!" Lauren shook her head, as she absorbed this new information. "The girl has a right to know! Perhaps she can tell us more! She'd known Nefara for many years! It's my duty to see to that! And you, Livy, who have no authority over me!" the man snapped back. The woman ducked her head, nodding. "Sorry," she mumbled, backing away from sight. "Lauren come with me. I have some questions for you. Maybe you can give us some insight on Nefara."

Chris looked like being awoken from a dream, and he was so closed off in his own world that he barely remembered what Carden last said. When was it he had questions? When did he tried to ask? What did he tried to ask? "No, they're not of much importance anymore." He whispered, his voice was also swallowed by his thoughts. "You were making a fuzz about it before." Carden frowned. Something new that Chris couldn't remember, but some random questions popped up. "Okay, maybe I got some..." He looked around. "How many more Vamps are there? What can hurt us?" He paused, making clear he wasn't finished. "What do you think of me... as a Vampire?" He grinned, slightly.
"Sam. You have to tell me she's gonna be alright!" Cecelia cried, looking how other Kriivada took care of Scarlet, her best friend. "She will." Sam said, but it wasn't very comforting. Cecelia sighed, sitting down. There was nothing for her that could change her state of mind, she was down and out. "Okay, you get some rest. I have a job for you tomorrow." Sam said, walking away, like he didn't care about the situation anymore.

Carden laughed. "What do I think of you as a vampire?" he took a breath, smiling. "Well, you're doing pretty good; better than I'd expected. We still have a lot of work though. Well your other questions are good. I don't know how vampires there are. In the area? A couple hundred perhaps? Many are weak, and they come and go. They're made as quickly as they are killed, as they get picked off by the Kriivida easily. Either that or the Kriivida ignore them because they're not much of a nuisance. Often, only if they became a hassle or get noticed, the Kriivida kill them... The more powerful vampires ignore them as well---" "You mean like yourself." Carden shrugged. "Yes. They are not to be bothered unless they start trouble with the humans that risk our race being found out about." Chris nodded. "How can they--we be killed?" "Well almost nothing can kill us. The major thing is sunlight. Too much exposure to low light will weaken and kill you, though direct sunlight, and poof you're gone..." Carden said with a smirk. "And if you... well lose your head. That kind of sucks. The Kriivida usually use their specially-made weapons: Solaris blades. Their magic is sun-based, which as you know sunlight is lethal to us, and they make their blades with their magic. It's the only weapon that can kill us. You won't be able to regenerate like you usually do. You'll die as if you were human... blood loss and crap. The Kriivida use their own magic to 'activiate' the blades." "So can humans use them?" "Yes, but it's not as dangerous to us. Yes, it will hurt like a bi*ch, but we will heal faster than if a Kriivida was using it..." Carden stood. "You're thinking about your past... I can see it on your face." Chris looked startled. "What?" "Don't try to get it past me. I've lived long enough to learned how to read people. And right now you're as easy to read as a book." "Oh..." Chris said, frowning. He didn't like Carden being able to read him so well. "Fine, yes. I want to know more... about my human life. Or at least my past." Carden sighed. "I'd say let it rest, but since it seems to be so distracting to you, we'll try to find something."
