Carden nodded. "The only big thing you need to know is that they are in short, vampire hunters. This doesn't mean they're human, like some idiots who try to kill us, and of course, utterly fail. The Kriivida was a powerful family way back, with magic running deep in their veins. They made it their 'job' to eradicate us. Now all the decedents of the original Kriivida bloodline are the hunters today... They have weapons that will kill you, Solaris blades. They are faster and stronger than any human... our advantage is that we still usually are stronger, so that they need to work usually in groups..." Carden said. "I decided that we're going to get some practice in martial arts... as that is one our best weapons when coupled with our natural abilities..." he said. "You're probably only used to fighting humans, or maybe not at all. But lets give it a go," Carden said, attacking suddenly, and bringing Chris to the floor. "Woah! You never said we were starting now! Chris complained, as he got to his feet. Carden grinned, his teeth flashing. "Expect the unexpected," he said, and attacked again...

Dexter rounded the corner by the tree and found himself in the face of both the men. The air bent around him and gripped him. He dropped the syringe and knife. They were unlike his other foes.
Lauren shattered the second mental assault. "Theres, theres nothing to talk about." She shuddered. She always relied on Nefara. But no. She was with that... that Vampire! How disgusting. She even knew she let him feed on her. Its dispicable. The other men stared at her seeing what she did. Their eyes wide. "I am going." Lauren turned and walked away holding back her tears.

"I suck at fighting." Chris yelled, while surprisingly fast dodging Carden's attack. He started dodging and defending, not sure how to attack without being hit himself. And every time he was too slow and the Vampire did hit him he learned more, more about how he fought. Finally he could strike back, kicking his foe in his face, with all strength he had, so Carden first turned twice in the air before falling on the ground. Chris smiled happily, as the Vampire stood up, nothing wrong with him.

Nefara stood there statue-stiff, her countenance strong, but inside she was dying. It was only a week into the school year and she lost her best friend. Cecelia and Zach smiled triumphantly. "Oh, so sad..." Zach said, grinning. "We'll be seeing her though. She'll make a great asset!" he said. Nefara's trance broke. "No. She may hate me, but she's not going with you..." she snarled, looking every much the vampire that her mother had been. "What, are you going to stop us? No matter what she's never going to side with you. It's her nature, her calling..." Cecelia said, her eyes laughing. Nefara took a breath, Aleron placing a restraining hand on her shoulder. Let her be... WHAT! How can I? Nefara returned, startling Aleron, by the mental thought. I can't let THEM take her... She's just confused and hurt... Aleron sighed. He knew this could easily go into a conflict. There was way too many people walking around too. They wouldn't attack them. Not yet, not now. "Lets go..." he said. Nefara only mutely nodded. It was only that they were out of sight of Cecelia and Zach that she broke down into tears.
Carden cracked his neck, before smiling. "Ah! Finally, a challenge!" he said with a laugh. "Nothing like mid-day excessive..." He lunged again; Chris falling to the floor, only to spring back up. "Come on! You're quick on your feet! See where your opponent goes, then attack!" Carden urged, as he ducked under Chris' fist, reaching up, and snapping the bone. "Ow!" Chris said, as he felt his bone crack back into place and heal. "Stop crying... you'll heal..." Carden said, as they parried blows. "But it still hurts..." Chris said, sticking his lower lip out. They laughed. "Ok, pause..." Carden said. "Now, we won't put this next part into full throw, but our most 'fatal' weapon especially to Kriivida is to bite... It's harder for them to heal from, and of course, there's the threat of bleeding to death..." Carden said with a cruel laugh. "I want you to practice this. Just don't actually bite me. That'd suck...." Then he attacked suddenly again.

Lauren quickly walked off and then slumped against the side of the building after turning the corner. She held it all back and down. It was hard, Nefara was her best friend. Her true best friend. The only girl she trusted. The only person... The other two came around the corner. "Lets get out of here." Zach said. He was testy being so close to a vampire. Lauren stood up, swallowed her tears and bottled the emotion just the way she did with everything.

Nefara sat down on a bench, her head in her hands. "I know enough about the Kriivida to be worried..." she said. "I don't think they'll hurt her," Aleron said. But he knew that they'd use her. They'd manipulate her volatile emotions to have her side with them. There was something off about her. Could she have Kriivida blood running through her? He hadn't sensed it though. She smelled and looked like any human, but she'd thrown back his mental assaults like nothing. Only the most powerful Kriivida had that ability... He didn't say any of this to Nefara though. It would only upset her more. He could feel her aura--a dark purple--spiraling out in violent tendrils. "Nefara, calm down," Aleron urged, feeling their auras crack, as they snapped at eachother. Nefara felt it, and jolted upright. "What was that?" Aleron sighed, pausing. "Your aura... It's... different, of course. Your emotions make you more powerful, but also more unstable. Keep them in check, but still use the force of them. Another time we'll have to work with that. I have no idea what you can actually do with your untapped powers... It's so...strange." "Just as strange as you walking during the day..." Nefara said, smiling. "Yes. I bet you're tired. You've been up for the past 24 hours. Go and rest, I'll wait up for you."

Chris dodged a few more times, trying to decide upon his actions. What to do next? How to “bite” Carden without being smacked in his face. He waited, then grabbed Carden's arm and turned around him, putting his other arm around his neck. Putting his teeth softly against Carden's shoulder. “Got ya.” He said, smiling as he released Carden from his grip. When he moved his teeth back a major shock went through his head. All kind of images flew around in his mind, in front of his eyes. Images of People being killed, giant wolves, fights, and bites of course. He also perfectly knew what triggered it. It were probably his memories, some pieces, little pieces. Chris didn't want to let Carden now, right after the shock in his head he shook his head and tried to act perfectly normal.

Carden laughed. "I let you win..." he said. "You alright?" "Yea, I'm fine. Just had a weird moment. Sorry..." Chris said quickly. Carden frowned. "You sure? Maybe this is all a little much... I hadn't planned on showing you this stuff until later anyway--" "No, It's great. Thanks...." Carden just nodded, before smiling and stretching. "Well I think it's time to head up. It's been a long day... I want to get a few moments of rest before the sun sets..." Carden said.
(Galadas, you should do something with Zach and Cecelia too... or if not at least the others, who were chasing Dexter??)

(idk... you two figure that part out... lol) Nefara lay there. She wasn't tired, despite having gotten no rest for the past 24 hours. She sighed, as she turned on her side. Suddenly a vision hit her as if it was a blow. It was dark. It took Nefara a moment to realize it was night, and there were two shadowy figures sitting in a limo. She couldn't see faces, but from she gathered, they were well off, older gentlemen. "The report?" the man on the left asked. "Nefara, the girl and Aleron escaped." "That was the other outcome..." he sighed. "What more? Any casualties?" "Two. One of them men bled to death, the other died from bite wounds... Everyone else is fine, sir." "So I'm guessing that the girl knows about Aleron then. This can turn dangerously out of hand. Do you think Aleron knows about her calling?" "We can not assume, but we must act. They are bound to find out. And once it is unleashed, our bloodline is doomed." The man on the left rubbed his hands together. "Not just us, but the human race. The vampires will kill everyone... It is better to capture the girl." "Aleron is with her." "Then kill him and take her by force. Do whatever it takes. She is as much as an asset to them as to us... for now. As long as she is still human when it is all over."
Nefara was thrown back into her bed. She jumped upright. She looked at her clock. She had slept a long time then. What was that about? It was about her and Aleron, but what had they been alluding to? She had to tell Aleron. (ok, i have another long term idea! ^.^ )

(Yeah, I did send two persons after Dexter... I guess i forgot a bit, was struggling with my last days school before the autumn break. But now I have my autumn break : D so more time. )
Chris nodded, moving out of Carden's way as he left the cellar, then went to his own room. THinking about what just happened, he was happy he got part of his memory back, but it was also disturbing. He lay down, listening to the outside world, while using what ever it was to determine the time and where the sun was at. He couldn't wait to learn more, to get outside, and maybe find more of what he used to be back in what he could do more.
Cecelia was a bit torn apart by what had happened between Lauren and Nefara, she couldn't imagine a way out if that would happen between her and Scarlet. "Zac." She said, sounding a bit different. "What is it?" Zachary turned to her, surprised. "Can you bring Lauren save, I have to talk to Scar." "Your friend?" "Yes, she's probably wondering where I am." "Okay, sure. Lauren?" Zachary turned to the girl, the former friend of Nefara. Lauren nodded.
"Have you found the Hunter?" Sam asked over the phone, getting scared with still no word from his men. "No, sir." One said. "We followed him for a long time, but he aura suddenly disappeared. We're now at his car, but I don't think he'll come back." "Just stay there, try to find out where he lives, who he is. We need to take him in, he's forming a danger. When the job is done, come back, I have no orders on the vampire." Sam hung up, not wanting to hear One complain about his concurrent mission. These days, everyone was complaining, less and less family was in for the job.

(Sry for disappearence, just got a new girlfriend today, so I am extremely happy! That and well Work and stuff got in the way with this. SO yea I am back! HOORAH!)
Zack lent out a hand and helped Lauren up. They walked off towards their Haven.
Dexter moved swiftly away. He had to get home, get packed and ready. There were people after him. Great... Humans this time. He jsut hated to be the prey. To be the submissive dog to the ones planning their attacks. A rabbit against a pack of wolves, a Zebra and a pride of lionesses. Weak foolish and one wrong move, one wrong step. Death.

(ok! lets speed things up a bit! >.< )(
...a few hours later...
Carden knocked on Chris' door. "Sun's down! Time to party!" he laughed. Chris came out. "Awesome. Lets go..." Chris paused. "um, where would that be, anyway?' Carden smiled. "How do you like college girls?" he said. "Young, sweet... There's a college I have in mind a few hours drive from here." "Nice!... but we're not driving... right?" Chris asked. "Why drive when you can run?" Carden smiled, eyes wild. "Race you there!" Carden said, jumping out the window.
Aleron listened as Nefara told him her vision. "Sounds like the Kriivida. They know something we don't about you. And we're both blind. We have to leave. They know where you live, who your friends and family are... it's too dangerous to stay in one spot. "Aleron, I say again: what's the point? We'll always be running. I hate running. I want to fight!" Nefara snapped. "And if you lose?" Aleron asked. "Then I lose, but I will have known that I didn't run away and cower before them!" she said, standing to her feet. "Human weapons will do little against either vampires or Kriivida. Too much power runs in our veins... And there's something I must tell you..." "What?" Nefara asked. "There's something off about Lauren. I attacked--" "You WHAT?" "No, listen, please. I sent a mental attack at her, but she shattered the assault with a though! A though! Only the strongest and most talented Kriivida have an ability close to that! Those other Kriivida saw it too. I think she might be a Kriivida..." Aleron said. Nefara's face fell. "No, Aleron. Tell me this isn't true." "I'm not sure. I hadn't registered any form of magic within her, but it's undeniable that something's there. You must get her back on our side." "She hates me... and if she is a Kriivida, then it's only natural she hate me even more!" Nefara said, frustrated to tears. "Try."

Chris smiled as he started to try and outrun Carden, of course he couldn't, but trying was enough to make him feel like a little child. He was surprised by himself, how could he had ever began to "like" killing. But his concerns weren't there long, he didn't want to give up on this life, never.
Scar was still tired after the party, she first told her how much she missed Cecelia during her boy hunt, and fell asleep after an hour or two. Leaving Cecelia behind in the dark of their room. She took out her phone, wanting to call Zac, but she would just go back to the haven and see what they had to do for her. Then Sam called. "Ce, find Jorge, he's outside. We have an other mission for you. A man called Dexter, that hunter. We have to take him in, the Elders see a higher value in him." "Seriously!?" "I don't know why, it doesn't matter, just follow your f*cking orders." Sam sounded mad, like something had really pissed him off. "Well, okay." Cecelia ran down the stairs to meet Jorge, who lead her to the place that was named "The home of the hunter".

Carden's eyes were wide with exhilaration of the run, his hair, blown back from the speed. Chris caught up a few minutes later, amazed that he only felt slightly winded. The moon had risen high over the trees, casting a white light over Carden's sharp features. His eyes were lightless, a smile playing across his face. "Ah, do you hear that?" Carden asked. "What?" Chris asked, listening. "Nothing contents me more than the sound of a beating heart..." Carden signed. "No parties tonight. Besides, students will be in their dorms. It's Sunday. So we'll just have to get invited..." he said. Chris frowned, but followed Carden as he walked past the Welcome sign and onto the campus.
Chris headed toward the dorms, his eyes searching. He saw a girl sprint from the dorm, heading off with an amazing speed (hint, Cecelia). He waited a few more minutes until he spotted a group of girls walking back from a late night to their rooms. He watched from the shadows as one broke away to head to her door. "Watch and learn..." Carden whispered before flitting there in an instant, as soon as she was out of view from the other girls. "Ah, you scared me..." she said, as he saw Carden appear out of the shadows before her. "I'm sorry, but you're not supposed to be here..." she said. Carded only smiled, as he approached. "Miss Hendrin, I'm sorry to bother you," he said, pulling the name from her head. The girl's eyes widened with surprise. "I'm sorry. Do I know you?" "Oh, you will in a moment..." he said, as he grabbed her with lightening-fast reflexes. Before she could utter a sound, he had forced him into her mind. You will invite my friend and in with you. "Why don't you come in with me?" she smiled. "I'm sure my roommate won't mind at all." Carden felt the force of the doorway recede, as Chris and him stepped over the threshold of the room. "Oh, I guess my roommate isn't in yet..." the girl said. "That's fine, thank you. I'll just help myself," Carden said. "You may meet my friend, Chris, though," Carden said, as Chris came over. "If you need me, I'll be across the hall," Carden said, with a cruel smile.
Carden opened the door, as he closed the door to the room of the girl that Chris was with. Carden paused as he entered. The room smelled of Kriivida! He instinctively hissed. There was a girl, a human, lying in the bed though. The Kriivida must be out. Carden smiled. He wouldn't be in this area long, only the night. Why not reek some havoc? The Kriivida girl was bound to notice the death of her little friend. (hint, Galadas... It's Scar) Carden moved to the girl's bedside, as he entered her mind, so she would not wake. Oh, he would enjoy this. Maybe he should turn the girl. He loved playing sides. They were friend, he could tell. A picture of them both was on the nightstand. Carden reached down, gently pulling her head back to reveal her throat. Yea, he had a plan...

Chris felt like, even though it was only his fourth kill, everything went well automatic. And this time, he didn't even care, he didn't care about her future, about her family. She was all he needed to survive, her life couldn't have been more useful to any other being. He was losing any part of humanity left within him, and he wanted more. Parts of his memory came back crushing, he couldn't make sense of them yet, but maybe a few more and he could complete it. Yet there were only a lot of fang appearing fights, and other vampires, or kills, or even Kriivada. But not much that could tell him who he used to be, or who he might become next.
"Where do we have to go? Who is this man?" Cecelia asked Jorge, while she checked her phone again for a message from Scarlet, something felt wrong. "Dexter Morgan, he's from Miami. We only know that he has a hideout somewhere downtown." "What will we use... to catch him?" Jorge handed her a hand full of little arrows and a gun. "Put him down."
