(yea, I have this little history about Nefara. I'll slowly reveal the secrets. ) (and sorry, long post. I had this awesome idea. Just decided to write it and get it posted. XP) Chris pursed his lips. "Why ponder on the past?" he said with a smile. "You are no longer who you were... I asked you who your sire was because it is... a rule, I guess you could call it, that all sires help fledglings into their new life. An ignorant or naive person could be the risk of us all." "Is that why you're helping me then?" Chris asked. "Yes and no. Yes, because any vampire or Kriivida even can see how lost you have been. No, because I see this more than a duty..." Carden said with a laugh. "I had a brother once... Not much different than you I guess. We spent decades together, but over time we separated. I have not seen him since. I don't know weather he is alive..." Carden said, his eyes distant. "But he was a fool. He wanted to be human," Carden said, spitting the word as if it were poison. "And he met anther vampire who had the same yearning as he, and he left with her..." Carden came back from his reverie. Turning his fierce gaze on Chris, he asked, "Don't try to be what you aren't. It will only lead to the destruction of yourself." Without a second word, Carden got up and left Chris in the room that Carden had given him. Nefara almost laughed with happiness as she stepped out into the early sunlight. The past few days seemed only like a dream. A crow landed on the bench, cawing once. "Aleron?" Nefara asked, feeling silly for talking to a bird. She looked at the crow, with it's dark, human-looking eyes. The crow cawed again, getting up and circling over Nefara. The crow dived and grabbed Nefara's sweater, giving a tug. "OK! ok!" Nefara said with a laugh. She started to run, feeling the cold wind fill her lungs, as she followed the crow across the campus. Aleron was anxious to find a place to talk with Nefara. She had to know. Aleron had his sources, and he checked them last night. More Kriivida were here in the area, on campus. Was it Nefara they were after or him? But how could they know about her? He'd killed the last who had known over a hundred years back. No it must be him... But he couldn't risk it. They probably only knew at the very most, as much as he did, which wasn't much. He stopped in the shade of the trees. It was safer here, away from the deadly sun as well and in private. (ohh! Good idea! Galadas, mind if I take over Cecelia a bit?) Cecelia paused, as she walked back to her dorm. She closed her eyes. Something told her that he was near. Perhaps if she could find out more about where he lived or other crucial information... Focusing her senses, she sprinted off like a cat. As she neared, she made out two forms. She focused, to pull her aura inwards. If anything would give her location away, it would be that. She didn't want to get too close, so that he could hear her, but she had to see what was going on. Nefara watched as Aleron shifted from the crow to his human form. It never ceased to take her breath away. He'd told her that he never took any human blood, so it make him weaker than normal, but she couldn't tell the difference. In the dampened light, he seemed every bit of a powerful and dangerous vampire, but she didn't feel frightened. Something inside her welcomed the darkness. She hadn't felt so...invigorated...alive. "Aleron!" she said, with a grin, as she hugged him. She felt him stiffen for a moment, surprised, before relaxing and returning the hug. She could still feel the tension in his body, he was worried. Looking up, she asked, "What is wrong?" "Kriivida. There's more here. They're hunters, and they're after us, I think. If not me, then you."

Cecelia inched closer, as she watched Nefara embrace Aleron. She closed her eyes, straining to hear. Her breath caught. So he knew about the other Kriivida! Her hand went to her long Solaris dagger, hidden away. With a well aimed strike, she could end it. Neither of them would know what had hit them, and since Nefara was obviously not a vampire, she wouldn't have to hurt her. She could bring her to the others. Maybe then, they'd let her in on why this girl was so important. It was stupid, but now was the chance! He knew about them! It was only time before he fled or did something worse! Soundlessly, she drew the golden-tinted blade out. With light feet, she jumped out of her hiding spot and attacked.
Aleron sensed it just in time. He turned, snarling, putting himself between the attacker and Nefara. It was that girl, Cecelia! He should've killed her when he had the chance... If he had been taking regular human blood, things would have been easier, but he had been safe, but he'd been careless, and it would cost him. Like Carden had told him long ago, to assume anything is to get and early grave. He gasped, as Cecelia threw the dagger, slamming it into his chest. It was a Solaris blade! He threw and arm out, clipping Cecelia's side. He strength was fleeting, as he shifted into his other form and took off. Nefara stared in horror at the girl who had attacked, who lay gasping on the ground. Then she turned and ran, following Aleron.
"Aleron!" Nefara called. She lost sight of him, when he fell from the sky. She saw a dark from lying under a tree. It was darker there, out of the sun. She had no idea where they were; definitely off campus. "Jesus!" Nefara said, as she knelt down. The hilt stuck out; a beautifully carved protrusion. Aleron grasped it, pulling it out with a pained breath. Nefara bit her lip, as she helped remove it. His clothes were slick with blood. "Why aren't you healing?" she cried. "Who was that? You’re going to bleed to death!" She never thought Aleron could look paler. It was like her dream of him years ago when he had been seriously injured and Carden had brought him the girl to revive him. That’s what he needed: human blood. "The blade... magic..." Aleron gasped. Nefara tore the shirt away, to reveal a well-placed strike. “Aleron, here,” she said, baring her forearm. She saw his eyes go all black, as he took a ragged breath. "Bring me... something else to... sustain me. Not you." "I can't do that, you know. Please, I know you won't kill me..." Nefara said. “You need it. Please, Aleron!" "No!" Aleron growled, though his eyes looked tortured. "Aleron!" Nefara snapped, as she reached forward, bringing it to his lips. She saw Aleron's will break, as he grabbed her and sank his teeth into the skin right below the elbow. Nefara clenched her teeth to keep from crying, as she leaned against him. When she started to feel faint, she felt Aleron release her. His eyes had lost their dullness, and some amount of color had returned to him. She stared down at what used to be a fatal wound in his side. It was only a red scar. Laughing and crying she hugged him. "Thank god...." she said, breathless. "What are we going to do now?

Dexter drove around just heading home from the office after dropping back off the gun and tazer. He picked his head up and slammed on his brakes. The girl from last night hurled herself harmlessly over the car and darted off. (Hint hint Cecelia) He cursed and flipped up the #1 sign. He felt the darkness hiss in the distant. He felt that same chill from last night. A lure. A calling. He pulled over and parked against the forest edge. Why would she run... She was a hunter like him... He could tell. He felt his Passenger take the wheel and drive him into the forest.
Lauren woke up stretching and sat up without a headache. Strange she met the most wonderful person last night. She tried to remember but only remembered him tucking her in. She shook her head. No that had to be a dream... No guys were allowed in the girl's dorms. She tried to concentrate but felt a pulse hit her away from the memory. She grabbed her coat and quickly walked out.
He felt his Passenger leading him through the forest, He grabbed his knife and pushed past the brush to see Nefara. He saw Aleron laying on the ground wounded. He had no choice but felt a smile. "Why hello." Aleron shot up and stumbled a bit and stood infront of Nefara. Dexter looked into his eyes. He had killed. But it was different. Did he really meet Harry's code? He felt the Passenger's hunger for the blood. But with a witness? No that was not Harry's code. Nefara looked at him and stood up in a fightning stance. Her left side facing him. "Get the hell away from here!" She shouted. Fiesty one. Strange how she protected him. He saw the red mark on her arm. Dexter smiled. "But why? It is a lovely day. Imagine if I were to attack. The thrill of fightning two people. That would be fun. But not today." He looked into Aleron's eyes and felt the aura press against him. Not today. Passenger is driving. He smiled and felt the aura get shoved back. He liked this Passenger. He felt more powerful now around this vampire then anyone else. He put the blade away and stood passively. Aleron took the gesture. "So why are you here?" Aleron started and stood infront of Nefara protectively. "I saw a very vicious hunter jump my car. I nearly hit her. That would have sucked. Dents, scratches, paperwork. My insurence goes up. All too nasty. Good thing she didn't though." Dexter smirked. This vampire, he was different. Not like the rest.

Cecelia ran as fast as she could, she had wounded him, but her sword was gone, getting it back would risk things, especially with the Hunter there. She had felt him coming from the moment she was hit by the Vampire. She hoped that he wasn't a friend of the Vampire. She coughed as she ran over campus, not looking anyone in the eye. Then she saw "Sam", the name she was allowed to use for the older man, give a sign to her. "You hit him?" Sam asked, apparently knowing more than he should. "I did." Cecelia answered, she bit her lip, afraid he would be mad on her for losing her sword. "But, I lost my blade." Sam nodded. "Blades can be replaced, people can't." He took her hand and leaded her away from Campus. "There is an other problem." He shook his head. "We scouted two other Vampires in the area, two we've seen before. We're not sure, but they probably killed two girls yesterday." "Are they... powerful." "One is, the other has only showed up a couple of times in our records, but there's not much on him." Sam spitted on the ground, then waved at the two other kriivada. "Where did you left that Vampire?" "The forest." "Good, we leave right away."
Chris sighed, as he sat there alone, he missed Carden already, he missed company. He would never try to feel human, he had tried, and it always turned out wrong. But he did want to know who he used to be, he could not think about being human before waking up, it felt like he had been Vampire for a much longer time.
He opened his eyes, it felt like he had never opened them before. There was an amazing pain in his head, but it more stunned him that it hurt. He woke with the ability to breath, he stood like he had done that before, but there was one big difference. He couldn't remember a thing. His gaze was vague, the ground was soft, and his hands wanted to touch it once more. He moved his legs, not knowing why or where he wanted to go. He sat down, holding his head between his hands, trying to remember something, but there was nothing there, not a name, things had names, not a memory, he could only remember things like; the capital of England was London. Or the color of fire was red, and that bread was baked in an oven. There it stopped, all basic information, that humans lived in cities. But there was no history of his own. He looked around, he was in a forest, trees. There were birds, and other animals. He could name them. He lay his hands upon the ground, not looking at it, and felt something rough. Paper, he could even remember it's smell. He grabbed it and lay it upon his legs. Language, words, letters. He could even read them, he could pronounce them, while not remembering to have seen them ever before. It was a music magazine, from 1999, what year was that? He looked in it, hoping it would refresh his memory. Had he lost every memory he once had? Could he retrieve them? There was no sun upon the forest, it was silent, and fog cooled down the temperature around him. He stood up again, the paper in his hand. He tried to remember his name, it frustrated him that there was still nothing.
Chris shook his head. Nothing from that moment he would could make him remember what happened before. How did he come to be in the forest? Had something brought him there? There were no marks on his neck, he hadn't been turned. There were no wounds, no pain, accept in his head. He wanted to know so badly! Embracing his monster was his first step, hoping that he had done that before he woke, that bloody things could bring back his memory.
Cecelia arrived with the rest at the forest, standing around a car that was parked there. "Lead us the way." Sam said, putting his knife in the tires of the car. (hint, dark and Kyana)

Aleron felt more alive than ever before, like there was real life flowing through his veins. Nefara had given her blood to save him... He closed his eyes, and in that moment, he felt them. The Kriivida were coming to make sure he was dead, and probably take Nefara. They were so much more dangerous than this man standing cordially before him. They didn't play with human trivalties; they didn't see him as human. The Kriivida killed quickly and without much warning. He concentrated on his crow form, but it didn't come. He felt it there, but he couldn't take the form... He frowned. It was too bright for him to be outside, away from the thick cover of the trees! He'd fall to ash. "Sorry again to cut things short, but we better be on our way..." Aleron said, quietly taking Nefara's hand. When I say run- RUN! That girl that attacked me is coming with backup... Aleron told Nefara. He felt her squeeze his hand in response. Run.Nefara took off, the trees blurring. Aleron easily caught up with her, scooping her into his arms. They fled through the trees, Aleron dodging obstacles at an incredible speed. Nefara hugged him tightly, afraid of what happened he they fell and if the Kriivida caught them. "They're getting away!" Sam shouted, as they jumped into the clearing. Dexter seemed surprised as most of the group sped past him, except for two who stayed. The rest ran in hot pursuit of their quarry. Kriivida were as probably close to human as the vampires. The magic that ran in their blood gave them inhuman abilities as well, though not close to a powerful vampire. Aleron was still a little weak from his near-death experience, and he was carrying Nefara, so she wouldn't get left behind. The Kriivida were quickly catching up. "Aleron!" Nefara cried, as a blade hurtled through the air at his back. He ducked. It slammed six inches away into a trunk of a tree. Aleron turned sharply to the right, only the hiss and step back, as a burst of light brushed almost hit his face. He turned and kept running, but the trees were thinning dangerously. He could see up ahead where the trees fell away all together, opening up onto the sports fields of the college. He stopped and put Nefara down, turning to the pursuers. "Aleron, the sun..." Nefara breathed, her eyes wide. "Shapeshift, get away and protect yourself from the sun." Aleron shook his head. He didn't know how Nefara knew that his other form was the only form he could be in the sunlight; she probably knew from one of her dreams. "I can't. I can't access that ability right now. Something is blocking it..." Aleron said, his voice a chilling calm. Nefara knew that if was either the Kriivida that he had to face, or the sunlight. Cecelia and the others stopped, happy smiles on their faces. They saw the situation exactly as Aleron and Nefara. They had them trapped. Aleron pulled his teeth back giving a dangerous hiss. It made her hair stand up on end. The circled out, so that there'd be no way out. If Aleron abandonded Nefara then he could easily get through their ranks and escape, but he was too slow carrying her, and he was still injured, it looked from all the blood that covered him. But it was too hard to tell, he didn't seem that injured. She was sure she'd gotten him right next to his heart. A blow like that should be lethal. Aleron pulled out the Solaris blade that had stabbed him, having no other weapon on him. "Going to use our own weapons against us, vampire?" Sam laughed, taking his time. He knew they couldn't go anywhere. The easiest thing to do was to drive Aleron into the sunlight. There'd be no body, no mess, just dust blowing in the wind, and there'd be less of a chance that one of her own would get hurt. Aleron was power, and not one to be tested, despite his wounds. They slowly advanced, weapons out. Aleron attacked; there was no other option. He rammed into the first, thrusting the knife into the man's side. He screamed and fall away. Then the rest of the Kriivida were upon him. He was able to get a few others, but they had power in numbers. He was able to sing his teeth into someone who got too close. He avoided most of their shots, but he felt a few hit. Pain laced up his arm and shoulder. Slowly he stepped back into the clearing. Nefara picked up a large branch besides her. Swinging it like a bat, she hit one of an unsuspecting person of the head, rendering them unconscious. They didn't expect her to fight. Nefara turned and screamed seeing Aleron trip and fall into the direct rays of sunlight, trying to avoid someone's attack. Aleron covered his face; a natural reaction, as he turned away from the sun. Everyone froze for a split second. Aleron sat up, a look of confusion on his face, which mirrored those of the Kriivida. He hadn't died; he hadn't turned to ash. He wasn't screaming in agony. She heard Aleron take a breath of amazement. The Krivida stood in shock for a moment. Aleron was still a vampire, even though they didn't understand why he could stand in sunlight. Aleron took their moment of confusion to grab Nefara and flit off into the daylight, across the campus, laughing. (ok, end of the little plan ) Carden lay in his bed, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. He sighed, happy that once again he had a companion. He'd make sure that things wouldn't go amiss this time. He closed his eyes, but sleep wasn't there yet. Getting up he pulled up a loose floor board. He pulled out the small box hidden there. He had a small sketch that and artist had offered to make for them. It was from 1794. They'd been in Paris together during the Reign of Terror of the French Revolution. Those were good times. The chaos, the blood...glorious! They could do what they wish without fear of being found. So much death, no one was missed. It'd been fun. He had seen King Louis XVI executed. They'd left for Germany when Napoleon had come to power. It was there that Aleron had left. This box was the only thing he been able to save from the fire. It held mementos hundreds of years back...

Dexter took off running. Witnesses. He dove through the trees swinging around them. Feeling his heart beating rapidly. The feeling was thrilling. The others barely ran after him but soon they lost him through a small swamp. He crouched in a tree seeing them running under him. He sighed and smiled. The feeling was amazing. He felt alive, almost human. He dropped down and ran back to his car. He had to get away. The vampire would most likely find him. He dove into his car and sped away feeling the rush still in his heart. He looked in the mirror seeing his friends finally catching up. Too slow to pursue the car. He sighed and turned the corner.
Lauren walked the campus and then saw someone stumble out of the forest. She looked and saw Nefara. She shouted. "Nefara!" But then Nefara was picked up by the man and he ran off so fast. Lauren stumbled back and sat. Was... but... Aren't vampires suppose to die in the sun?

(Dark, Sam was so nice to cut the tires of the car :3 so, it's kinda hard to drive away.)
Cecelia was completely stunned, she sat down next to Sam who was binding his wound. "That should have killed him!" "There must be some logical explanation for him not dying." Sam said, looking over their little battle field. The younger man, his name still unknown to Cecelia, was calling with the others who would have been holding the Hunter. "Vampires aren't logical!" She sighed, confused. "We aren't logical!" "We'll go after him later, regroup at first!" Sam stood, not making a problem of his injure. "You know where she lives, get her roommate. Owh, and take Zachary!" Cecelia looked around, understanding her assignment. "Which one is Zachary?" She asked, smiling brightly. "The young man. On the phone." Sam turned away, walking over to the young man called Zachary and gave him the same orders. Zachary walked over to Cecelia. "Lets get this Lauren girl. The others are chasing the hunter."
Chris walked over to Carden's room, tired of waiting. He couldn't sleep, he wasn't at all sleepy, and he had walked through the whole room that it seemed enough. He leaned against the wall, not opening the door yet. He waited a few minutes, staring through the hall, all windows were closed. "Carden?" He asked, standing in the opening of the door. "I'm bored!"

Aleron finally stopped, setting Nefara down. They were over ten miles away from the campus. That should put some room between them. Aleron seemed still in a state of shock. "I'm... I can walk in the sun..." he breathed. "You don't know how this feels, Nefara," he gasped, awed. "I haven't felt the soothing warmth on my skin since I was human. But how?" he asked aloud. Nefara marvled at how he didn't burn. They stood in silence for a while, thinking. Then suddenly, Nefara said, "my blood," just as Aleron said, "it was you." "Elvira was right..." Aleron whispered. "My mother? What was she right about?" Aleron sat down. "You should know the full story..." he said. "I think we have some time. I need to sit and rest anyway. I really should be sleeping right now..." he chuckled. "Anyway, your mother was born in 1898, or sometime then. during the Great Depression. That's what she told me anyway. I met her in the 1920s. She was a newly turned vampire then, and had just left her husband after the traumatic event. We became friends. I met her because she was searching for a way return her humanity. I also longed for it. It can't be done though; vampirism is a one way deal. For the longest time, she never told me why she wanted her old life back. I assumed it was because she hated the darkness, hated the need for blood... That's usually the case. But it wasn't her main reason. I didn't find out until years later....1960s? that she had a child inside her. You. At this time, we'd begun to separate. I'd had calmed and tried to settle in to a town. She left to search for someone to help her; mind I tell you, she was a determined and strong-willed woman. But only twenty years back she suddenly came to me, as a human, and had you as a baby. She was vague on how she had changed back, but she was never the same. The change back in itself probably killed half of her. From what I remember, she found a Kriivida, a healer woman, whom she begged to help her. The woman only concented because she knew she'd be possibly saving a human life. They did this all in secret, as should another Kriivida find out, both would be killed without question. Well the woman died in the process, but Elvira and you survived, thankfully." Elvira had told me that you needed protection, years back. This is the reason you probably have your visions, and who knows what else. I don't know what or how you made this possible," Aleron said, presenting his sunligt-self, "but it was you. Elvira knew that you were different." He got up and stretched. "Do not go home, Nefara. They are bound to be waiting... Please, come with me." Nefara looked stricked. "But Lauren? My classes?" "Can be changed. Lauren can handle herself..." "Oh no. I can't leave her... And besides, they'll just chase after us until they find us. We won't be able to rest. They will have more, right? They'll find us no matter what; they know who we are and what we look like." Aleron sighed, knowing she was right. "Let me come with you then... It'd be safer if we're together." "You aren't a student or teacher, so technically, you aren't allowed..." Nefara said. " "I'll have to enroll then," Aleron said, his eyes gleaming mischievously. He would lavish the fight. He felt as strong as he had been with Carden when they'd killed and fed without a care.
Carden quickly put the box away. "Bored? It's 9:00 in the morning..." he snapped. "Sleep, my friend. You can't leave once the sun has risen, unless you'd like me to be sweeping you up later..." "Oh, well, can you teach me something now?" "Now?" Carden said, opening the door. "Or do something..." Carden dragged a hand through his dark hair. "Fine... It's not like I enjoy sleeping anyway..." he grumbled. "Follow me to the basement."

(I will fudge it then) Dexter felt the car slide and then saw sparks. Great... His tires are shreaded. He slid and hit the curb. He parked his car and grabbed his bag. He quickly gathered a few tools then shot away from the crash site and into the forest. It was an old forest, not much underbrush but still young enough where the trees were not hundreds of years old. He slipped past the trees and then ducked against an old oak. He looked behind him seeing his friends pursing him. He waited and held still grasping his syringe and his bonesaw.
Lauren sat there and cried shadowing herself under the tree. She wanted to run after them but they were too far gone. She curled up and laid there and watched the kids walk by, unknowing she was in the brush beside them.

Nefara and Aleron quickly stopped at Aleron's house. "What are you doing?" Nefara asked, as Aleron rummaged through his room. "Getting what we need..." he said. "And removing what I want. There's a chance that they'll find this place, though I have it registered under another name... I just want to make sure that I get out what I need, should they come." "What would that be?" Aleron sighed. "Momentos... things that can't be replaced... and of course weapons." Aleron turned to her. "I thought I still had this. It was Elvira's..." he said, handing her a necklace. It was crest-like pendant in a black stone. "Thank you..." Nefara said, taking the cool pendant. A vision of her mother wearing it flashed quickly in front of her eyes. Nefara fastened it then sat back to watch as Aleron took various weapons: guns, knives, swords, blades, and packed them up. "I think that's all... Should they come, they'll find nothing too incriminating..."
Nefara and Aleron walked with an air of secretness. They had stopped at Nefara's room as well. "I wonder where Lauren is...." Nefara said. "She probably is wondering why I never met her, like I said I would've..." Aleron stiffened. "You two are roommates, right?" "Yes." "Very good friends?" "Yea... why?" "I think we should find her. The Kriivida may use her against you. They could take her hostage, and knowing you, you would have to follow through with it. It is necessary we find her. Where would she be?"

Chris smiled brightly as he followed Carden. "Are you looking for your brother? Or isn't that why you're here?"
(Kyana, please lead me with Chris, cuz i don't really know what to post : D )
Cecelia and Zachary reached the Campus. The young man just followed her as she calmly walked into the student house where the room of Lauren and Nefara was. "Why is that girl so important? She isn't a Vamp." Zachary held up his shoulders. "I know as much as you do, only Sam does." Cecelia nodded, walking on, until she reached the room. "No one here." She said, not even having to open the door. "Don't worry, I think I found her." She turned to see that the color of Zachary's eyes had changed from bright blue to minor green, but he didn't seem to notice her surprise. He just took a new way and led her outside, searching the area. "Where is she?" Zachary grinned. "She's closer than you think." He said, gazing upon the brush next to them. "Lauren? Come out, we want to help you." He said, softly.

Nefara and Aleron walked quickly through the campus. They were up in the office building, when Aleron drew her to the window. "Look..." he whispered, almost as if he was afraid of being heard. Nefara saw the two hunters, Cecelia and that other boy standing a ways off. "Is that... Lauren?" Nefara gasped, as she moved towards the door. Aleron caught her. "You can't..." he said. "I must!" Nefara said. "Lauren is in danger." "But we're in more danger than she is...." "Lauren is one of my best friends. I'm not going to let them take her," Nefara said, sprinting away. Aleron cursed, and flitted after her. He blocked her just as she was almost out the door. "Nefara, please." "Aleron, we can beat them. It's just those two, not the whole group... They won't expect a thing." "It's broad daylight, someone is bound to see..." Aleron snapped. After a pause, he gave in. "Fine... but don't you dare do anything rash. I won't fight unless necessary. There's too many witnesses anyway..."
Lauren's back was turned to Nefara and Aleron's approach, but Cecelia and Zach saw. Aleron saw their faces pale. He gave a predatory smile. Nefara stepped forward, not meeting either of their faces. "Lauren," she said. Lauren started and turned. She gave a little gasp. "Lauren come with us, leave these two..." she said, her voice going cold. She smiled, wondering how Lauren would respond. Aleron meanwhile was throwing mental punches at the two Kriivida. They trained to defend themselves from mental attack, but it still kept them distracted.
Carden turned to Chris suddenly, his eyes cold. "My brother?" he asked. "No, not anymore..." he said, cooling. "That was a long time ago, probably before you were born. "If I were to see him again, I might kill him for all I care," Carden said with an air of humor, but Chris got the feeling that there was some truth there. "No, now I'm here to have some fun. In the next century, if the humans haven't killed themselves off yet, I'm going to go back to France... Maybe "What are we going to do?" "First, I have to ask you a question... Do you know who the Kriivida are?"

Lauren's eyes met Nefaras then she looked at Aleron. She felt something in the air like bubbles but powerful. Being blocked and like a battle. But her mind was messed up. She looked back. "Nefara. I just... well... I just do not know. You seem to have another life with your new... boyfriend." It was the only logical explaination. She whispered under her breath. "He is not even human... I saw you two at the sports field. Not even an olympic runner can run that fast." Nefara took a step foward. Lauren stepped back. She could feel it. The tension in the air. The mental war, at least that is what her brain told her. "Just tell me what the (Bleepie Boo) is going on!" Nefara was hit back like as if Lauren hit her. Lauren never cursed. Never cursed in public and not even when she got hurt or burned. It was a once in a lifetime event. "Who are you anyways Nefara." She looked into her eyes. "I can tell your not like everyone else, that you were kindof like me. But these two people. I feel like they are so much more like me. And he... Whoever the (Bleep) he is, he is not human, I know that." Lauren held back the tears and felt her hands clentch. "Lauren..." Nefara started but Lauren lunged at her and drew her fist across Nefara's face. Nefara stumbled back and Aleron was next to her side but still very much concentrated on the others. He looked up at Lauren and she saw a bubble of something coming at her. She threw her hands up and then felt it crash and shatter infront of her as her own power destroied it. She felt powerful for once. No longer a follower, a submissive girl. Something different. (Lauren has a bit more of a past concerning a dead father... and mother... Dun dun duuuunnnn!)

Aleron blinked. What? She'd just broken his mental assult with a thought! Only some of the most expert Kriivida had the ability to do such... He tried again, but again was repelled. He felt the stabs from Cecelia, and returned his attentions to them.
Nefara's eyes were wide with utter shock, as she put her hand up to her face. It came away red. Her lip had split. Nefara sighed, feeling at a loss for words. "I know..." she said. "Know what? That that guy isn't close to human? That you aren't who you say you are? That you aren't my friend?" "What!" Nefara snapped, the last sentence catching a corner. "You were right about the other two, but that. No; I've always been your friend, and I will continue to be if you let me... Please," Nefara said, pleading. Nefara was a very dignified person; not someone to grovel or plead. It was the equivalent of hearing Lauren swear. "You're in danger though. Don't go with them..." Nefara urged, sending an icy glare at Cecelia and Zach who stood there, glaring back at Aleron. "I can explain everything when we are in private."

Chris stared away thinking. "I know bits and pieces, and..." He paused, thinking clearer. "I know more than enough." He remembered. He could think of a time that he had heard or read anything about the Kriivada, but the name did bring back some memory, facts that he couldn't remember having processed, but he did know. It was like the words that he knew when he 'woke' so many years ago, which he hadn't seen before.
